Chiefs Add Two to the Practice Squad

The Chiefs added G Tre Stallings and CB DeMario Minter to the practice squad today. They dropped T Joe Lobdell and WR Tyrone Timmons.

Stallings is a 2006 6th round pick of the Chiefs out of Mississippi State. Minter, out of Georgia, was a 2006 5th round pick of the Cleveland Browns.

is an American football cornerback free agent. He was selected by the Browns with the 19th pick in the 5th round of the 2006 NFL Draft (152nd pick overall).

After playing football at Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia, Minter played played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs and garnered First Team All-SEC honors by the Associated Press in 2005.

In 2006, during a pre-training camp workout with the Browns, Minter suffered a season-ending knee injury.

On September 1, 2007 he was released by the Browns.

I've seen Minter play, as I get to watch the Clowns games every week, he is pretty good, not great but good.

Where in ohio are you forced to watch the cleveland games, hopefully not too close to cleveland...

Seems reasonable enough, we are obviously going to be looking for a CB pretty heavily coming up, and some young blood on the OL would be nice. Hopefully they are able to pick up enough to be active in the preseason next season.

I wonder if they are searching for possible special teams help. Some of those on the low end of the roster better get it together
