10-03-2007, 04:02 PM
Rockies win, 4-2. Lead the series 1-0. Game 2 is tomorrow at 3 pm eastern.

Former Royal Mark Redman is gonna start tomorrow for Colorado... that should be interesting. Rookie Kyle Kendrick will pitch for Philly, probably a must-win.

Great pitching matchup between Lackey and Beckett should be up next tonight.

Turnaround, every now and then I get a little bit lonely and youre never coming round
Turnaround, every now and then I get a little bit tired of listening to the sound of my tears
Turnaround, every now and then I get a little bit nervous that the best of all the years have gone by
Turnaround, every now and then I get a little bit terrified and then I see the look in your eyes
Turnaround bright eyes, every now and then I fall apart
Turnaround bright eyes, every now and then I fall apart

Turnaround, every now and then I get a little bit restless and I dream of something wild
Turnaround, every now and then I get a little bit helpless and Im lying like a child in your arms
Turnaround, every now and then I get a little bit angry and I know Ive got to get out and cry
Turnaround, every now and then I get a little bit terrified but then I see the look in your eyes
Turnaround bright eyes, every now and then I fall apart
Turnaround bright eyes, every now and then I fall apart

And I need you now tonight
And I need you more than ever
And if youll only hold me tight
Well be holding on forever
And well only be making it right
Cause well never be wrong together
We can take it to the end of the line
Your love is like a shadow on me all of the time
I dont know what to do and Im always in the dark
Were living in a powder keg and giving off sparks
I really need you tonight
Forevers gonna start tonight
Forevers gonna start tonight

Once upon a time I was falling in love
But now Im only falling apart
Theres nothing I can do
A total eclipse of the heart
Once upon a time there was light in my life
But now theres only love in the dark
Nothing I can say
A total eclipse of the heart

Turnaround, every now and then I know youll never be the boy you always wanted to be
Turnaround, but every now and then I know youll always be the only boy who wanted me the way that I am

Turnaround, every now and then I know theres nothing any better and theres nothing I just wouldnt do

No suprise. Nearby Mesa is a Cubs town. That area is flooded with Cubs fans during spring training. A ticket to Ho Ho Kam Park in March is a tough ticket.

Today's matchups, starting here in 15 minutes or so:

Rockies vs. Phillies
Yankees vs. Indians
Cubs vs. Diamondbacks

I guess the Rockies are starting Franklin Morales... which is a great move. Now watch him prove me wrong.

tk13
10-04-2007, 01:11 PM
Tulowitzki jacks one to left, 1-0 Rockies.

tk13
10-04-2007, 01:12 PM
And Holliday follows with another. 2-0 Rockies.

tk13
10-04-2007, 01:19 PM
Jimmy Rollins with a leadoff homer, 2-1 Rockies. Here comes the offense.

HolmeZz
10-04-2007, 01:23 PM
Burrell was struck out twice. Don't know what game this ump's watching.

tk13
10-04-2007, 01:56 PM
Rollins with a 2 run triple, 3-2 Phillies. MVP chants from the crowd.

tk13
10-04-2007, 02:36 PM
Kaz Matsui whacks a grand slam off Kyle Lohse, who just came into the game. 6-3 Rockies. Both starters are out of the game in the 4th.

Big shocker, walks the first two batters, Philly crowd is getting restless.

tk13

ClevelandBronco
10-04-2007, 03:18 PM
8-3 Rockies in the 6th.

The Avalanche (NHL) moved their game to 5 p.m. MDT so fans could theoretically see the Broncos game, the Avs game and the Rockies game.

Things keep going like this and there may be no Rockies game.

HolmeZz
10-04-2007, 03:23 PM
Matsui needs a single for the cycle I think.

tk13
10-04-2007, 03:23 PM
Mesa's yanked, but Matsui hits a RBI triple.

Close the book on Mesa, 1/3 IP, 3 R allowed... and the one out was a sac bunt. 9-3 Rockies.. and Charlie Manuel might have just flushed the Phillies season right down the tubes.

The insect. They are EVERYWHERE. You can see them swarming all around the pitching mound and batters box. It is ridiculous. The last AB between Carmona and Minky(keiweiwewicz) literally took several minutes because each side kept stepping off the rubber/out of the box to clear away the bugs.

Akavir ("Dragon Land" in the native Akaviri language) lies some 4,200 miles to the east of Tamriel and is the homeland of the Akaviri, who are further divided into four sub-races: the Kamal, the Tsaesci, the Tang Mo, and the Ka Po' Tun. Little else is known about the continent or the people of Akavir, as few Tamrielians have ever dared to cross the vast ocean which separates it from Tamriel. It is believed that humans lived in Akavir at one time, but were eventually "eaten" by the Tsaesci, who have themselves launched several attacks upon Tamriel in past ages.
