24-23

Consider the numbers: USC hadn't lost at home in 36 games. The Trojans were 41-point favorites over Stanford. Now know this: the Cardinal beat John David Booty and No. 2 USC 24-23 on Saturday night, the Trojans' first loss at L.A. Coliseum since 2001

Oh, this puts Boston College on the fast track to the championship game. As long as they dont lose they should be in it.

So how far does USC fall in the polls? They should drop out of the top 10. Maybe not a Michigan drop out of the top 25, but a significant drop.

Heh, lost to a 39 point underdog.

I told you all not to run off Mecca yet!
I actually think I started it.

Mecca is OK in my book.

I think Ohio State is going to end up with one of the spots in the BCS Championship game.

How is a spread like that even possible? You'd have no choice but to take Stanford to cover anyway.

Ok, Im dumb...A one loss Florida or LSU team will make it over an undefeated BC.

Thats why I challenged him to stay gone til the end of the season, not forever. I hope he comes back, with a better attitude. (and to eat some crow if we do well this year)

That has to be one of the biggest upsets in CF history. 40 1/2 pnt underdogs.

App State was only a 20 or so point dog to Mich earlier this year when everyone called it the biggest upset in history.

Eh, I still think a D-IAA beating a top 5 ranked team is bigger than a lower D-IA beating a top 5.

I would have placed a bet on the spread but thought Mecca leaving was a sign not to.

Another beautiful weekend of NCAA football!

The only shame is that they managed not to choke to Washington last week.

Well, you can't have everything.

I think Ohio State is going to end up with one of the spots in the BCS Championship game.I think so, too. To bad they will probably look stupid, like Florida made them look. I am an OSU fan, but the Buckeyes have not beaten anyone, really.

Ohio State will lose to Michigan, just so Carr can keep his job and continue to make my life hell.

I think Vegas does a better job evaluating teams. They called the Illinois win over top 5 Wisc. yesterday. They had USC as being 40 points better than Stanford. They had Mich. being 20 points better than App State. In that regard it is a bigger upset.

Vegas doesn't evaluate teams. They adjust betting lines to ensure they make money.
