Why should he be accountable to you when you're not accountable for what you say?

If you're looking for a job at the Star, I guess he can just print out that thread where you are proven wrong and immediately welch on your bet. I wouldn't want to hire anyone who displayed those kinds of qualities. They would be unlikely to account for themselves for mistakes they make in their work or would probably try to hide things or cover things up.
