luckily, Huard's injury happened right as the team with the worse secondary in the NFL comes to town!

It won't have much to do with Croyle's success or lack thereof as much as it will ticket sales.

It won't have much to do with Croyle's success or lack thereof as much as it will our OL's ability (or lack there of) to keep him alive.

Somebody is going to have to rip his head clean off of his body & toss it into the stands before before they bench him.

P Manning, Aikman E Manning all sucked it up the first couple years, if KC is gonna lose I would rather lose with Croyle then Huard .The future of KC starts now

Croyle hit the jackpot with Cincy, I hope he doesnt come back out, and dont think he will, but unlike Belichick(?) Herm prolly wont let people lose position to injury.

IMO ...Huard isn't dogshit as a QB but the Chiefs really need to start playing Croyle to see if this is going to pan out for next season. If he can sustain a .500 OR SO record from here on out then I will be happy.

If he fails miserably then we draft another QB, bring in another one or two in FA and Huard gets another chance to complete for starting position again next season.

Why do you say "go back" to Huard. Herm hasn't even declared Croyle the starter yet.

I thought they said it on Monday, which would indicate a strong desire to see him play.

KCStar today:

“No doubt,” Edwards said. “If he’s going to have the opportunity to play, and we won’t know that until later this week..."

Publicly, Edwards held out the possibility Monday that Huard would play against the Bengals. He said he would receive results today of an MRI taken on Huard’s injured right shoulder.

“I’ll know more probably (today) or Wednesday whether he can throw or not,” Edwards said.

None of that seemed to bother Croyle, who said the coaches haven’t told him whether he will start against Cincinnati.

Let's just hope that is not foreshadowing :banghead:
