Why so many people hate GOATSE

Ive been a lurker here for about a year, and started posting about 2 months ago so I'm obviously a Planet "n00b" to some of you. So please help a "n00b" out and explain this hatred for GOATSE or GoChiefs that everyone seems to have. As a new guy, he seems like an alright person to me. I obviously could be wrong because Ive missed so much over the years. For all I know he beats up little kids in his spare time. I'll list the positive things Ive noticed about GOATSE and lets see how many negative points all the GOATSE haters can counter with. Please list specific examples, and not just "he's a douche" or "he sucks".

Positives:

1. He loves the Chiefs.
2. He helps people out who cant watch the games by uploading them.
3. He seems to occasionally have some sort of "inside" knowledge, even if its not always accurate.
4. He seems to be respectful to other members for the most part.
5. He's usually positive about our team.

Are all these things I listed way off base, or is there a "Hate on Goatse" conspiracy that I'm too "n00bish" to comprehend?

His history as a troll is a large part, but the root of it is that those perceived as "obnoxious attention whores" are naturally going to have haters.

I don't really have a problem with GoChiefs though.

- Because it's a shame to be a 20+ yo virgin on a football board.
- Because he's scared to talk to women and often circles parties he's invited to because he's too scared to go in.
- Because he wouldn't kick the ass of the guy that was boning his sister in the next room.
- Because he piled on Roy & his wife when he has noone at all.

I happen to love the guys quality entertainment (never met him in person) but other people don't tend to give him a pass.

I'm not sure why, but it does make me chuckle. Most ofthe dipshits that automatically bag on him don't have half the football knowledge or a tenth of the technical expertise GoChiefs has. I for one really enjoy his vids, pics, and .gifs.

I think his worst cases are his welching on bets (has done this several times) and his desire to see an airliner crash into a Denver neighborhood. This was an actual case when an airliner crashed outside Denver and he was posting his desire that it should have hit homes in Denver. I think that was the height of his bad acting days.

I've defended GoChiefs from day 1 on here. I tried to tell people he had talent with this videos but until he started publically sharing them no one believed me.

I've met him a couple of times in person. He's an okay dude who's been typecast by some on here as a Star Wars geek/virgin living in his mom's basement.

He does rub some people the wrong way but so what? I do too.
