I'd consider losing $100 bucks while having a blast a great time. Congrats

So does Vegas. So I guess everyone is happy.

That $100 bought a lot of entertainment.

I wonder what entertainment a person could get for $100 in some place like the Congo. Probably no slot machines, but I'll bet you could get a whole village to come out and dance. Probably get a good grilled wildebeest dinner, too.

I'm not saying it's better than Vegas. I'm just wondering.

They do a mean donkey show in the Congo.

I'll bet there's a topless revue there too.

Speaking of the Congo...

I saw the Amazing Jonathan at the Congo Room at the Sahara. Funniest thing I've ever seen in person. I'd recommend it to anyone, unless you've got kids.

Wait a minute. You were in the Congo in the Sahara in Vegas?

Lemme pull out my map.

Yes, but the expense of travel to Congo would probably outweigh the cost of travel to Vegas. Things like visas and vaccinations and airfare add up in a hurry.

I wonder if the Congo has a Vegas Room.

Maybe they could offer special packages in the Sunday paper.

Does he still do the bit with the camera picking out people in the crowd before the show?

Good job because when I go to Vegas, I lose more than $500, my morals (not that I have much) and my billfold usually.

They say what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. I thought they were talking about my money?

Did you get one?

Nope.

I've seen him 3 times, never been "lucky" enough.

The last time, I was in the front row, and the guy next to me was picked to go up on stage to be the "assistant"

Would have been fun to swig some Windex with AJ.

I also did a 3 team parlay...

I believe I chose:

Redskins +3.5 @ Green Bay
Bengals -3 @ KC
Titans +3 @ Tampa Bay

$20 to pay $135 if I win.

Also put a $25 bet on the Chargers to win the Super Bowl with 12-1 odds...:homer:

is that all you did is gamble? when I go to Vegas, I gamble a bit, but that's not the reason I go there

Gambled, Went to a show, Ate...

I don't drink so...

And I went w/ my Mom and Grandpa, so it wasnt really a party time.

However, I do know what to do when I go there from now on, and it will be with my friends from now on...

Damn. I miss Vegas. I love that town. It was an integral part of the best era of my life. I had hair. The bod, The clothes. The attitude...
I think of Vegas like you might think of a new comic book, or a Popsicle on a summer afternoon, or a pu$$y that doesn't smell, or a Montana pass or Marcus Allen run to win the game.
a.k.a. The good ol' days.
