Jaws just broke down a play in the Chiefs/Jags game.

What did he show in slow-mo?

LJ whiffing on a LB in pass protection. Didn't even look like he tried. Jaws said he quit on the play.

how about that?

What you didn't mention is that his block was completely irrelevant. Wiegmann had already given up the sack.

LJ whiffed on the block, he had a job to do and didn't do it. Even a dumbass from WPI can understand that.

And what you didn't mention is that you use Vagisil.

did LJ know that?

no, he didn't...the play was not dead, and LJ's back was to the QB...he had an assignment and didn't carry it out....

No way. Not the $50M stud-beast. He can do no wrong.

Say, did Jaws happen to show any plays where Leeeeeroooooooooy Jenkins ran into the back of the pile and laid down?

The play was pretty much dead. LJ's lack of blocking had no effect on it.

the play was not dead, and his lack of effort can't be wished away, even by a foot shuffling porter like you....

It was too dead. As LJ whiffed, Huard was falling to the ground with a lineman draped all over him.

You want to blame someone, blame that waste of skin Wiegmann.

GOATSE, your lack of objectivity is showing again.

The TRUTH is, LJ didn't know the play was dead. He had a role to fulfill and he didn't do it.

Stop making excuses.

Maybe he knows what everyone here knows except Goatse and Hootie and is trying to get Huard removed from the game.

Completely untrue, you might wanna look at some tape of other RBs.

We really need a real FB ...

YES! (In addition to new C, RG, and ROT)

I almost agree. I think our LOT should be our ROT and we need a new LOT

The play isn't dead until the whistle blows. His job is to block until the play is dead or the QB throws the ball. He didn't do that. He had no way of knowing if Huard was getting sacked or if Huard was getting away from the sack and it is his job to keep blocking in case Huard breaks free. He didn't do that.

Not only did he not do that, he really didn't even try to do that. I get the feeling in LJ's world, he's too good to waste his time blocking, or trying to run for short yardage. He should get to stand upright waiting for a huge hole to open so he can get big runs that land him on sports center. Anything else is a waste of his precious talent.
