Yeah, but that's not the point. He's not funny and I don't want to mix my entertainment with politics. I felt the same way about Rush Limbaugh. Sometimes people need to get away from politics and have fun.

Olbermann is awesome. but thats just because he is the only progressive talk show host on the 3 major networks :)

the DC freaks love him, doesn't that tell you anything? He's a douche and he's now at the point that he talks about himself as much as Dan Patrick talks about himself, if that's even possible.

i do agree though that politics and sports should NEVER mix. i would be ok with getting rid of olbermann.

I don't think you'd care about him if you didn't know his politics. He's annoying politcally, but there's plenty of other sports personalities as annoying or more annoying than he is.

look i am the biggest anti-bush progressive bleeding heart you are going to find- but I have to admit, I go to sports to ESCAPE politics. I hate it when i hear some tarkin sport announcer talking about monica's dress or some crap. it is completely absurd. I am not going to fight anyone saying the olbermann is not the best thing for football. They def have a point (but for the record Rush was much worse ;) and Keith was right about Travis Johnson)
