Did you guys know this? I didn't know this. Maybe everyone knows this. Maybe no one does. Maybe Damon's mom knows this. I doubt that Herm knows it. I don't know. Maybe this is repost and is nothing more than a tempest in a teapot, but nonetheless I saw it and found it very, very interesting.

Wow. And that's with a healthy 7.7 yards per attempt. (Which qualified for sixth place in the NFL last year.)

DeBerg's 1990 season was phenomenal too...

This changes my whole perception. He's not just a safe placeholder at quarterback. He's the safest placeholder at quarterback in the entire history of the National Football League. There has never been a safer placeholder. Ever. Not even back when passing was illegal.

Huard is not as bad as people some people would like him to be. He's actually pretty decent, but it just doesnt make sense for him to be our starter.

You're just jealous because Dan Fouts is looking up at Damon Huard in the NFL record book.

Huard's better than people give him credit for.

We're in the hunt to win the division currently...
It's tough to yank him for the kid at this point.

Dear, Lord!

I have tried on numerous occasions to set this straight, and yet it never seems to take. :shake: Yes, his interceptions are low, but look at how many fumbles lost he had last year. This damned interseption stat does NOT tell the whole story.

Neil O' Donnell. That's about as perfect a comparison as there is. Except when he led the Steelers to the SB, he was 30, not 35. This is more like people wanting him to play over McNair in 1998, after a 1997 season where he had 14 TD's and 13 INT's.

I am jealous of nothing (and for that matter have absolutely nothing against Huard other than he is not starter materiel). I am merely sick of half and twisted truths.

Huard is a solid back up. but a sucky ass starter.
