October 16, 2007

Electronic Arts Inc. announced today that Madden NFL 08 En Espanol will be out in stores this December for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360 video game system from Microsoft.

The original Madden NFL Football was developed by EA Tiburon, Electronic Arts' Orlando location, about 18 years ago. Madden NFL 07 was last year's number one selling video game in North America.

Entirely in Spanish, Madden NFL 08 en Espanol features San Diego Chargers defensive end Luis Castillo on the box cover. The game has additional Spanish features such as music tracks and Spanish play-by-play and game analysis voice-over.

Alvaro Martin is also featured on the game. As the first Spanish-language play-by-play broadcaster for ABC Sports' Monday Night Football, he is the broadcast voice of Madden NFL 08 en Espanol.

Other top-selling titles and franchises from EA SPORTS(TM) are Madden NFL Football, FIFA Soccer, NHL(R) hockey, NBA LIVE basketball, NCAA(R) Football, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR(R) and NASCAR(R) racing.

Electronic Arts Inc. (EA), is headquartered in Redwood City, CA. with a location in Orlando called EA Tiburon. The company develops, publishes and distributes interactive software worldwide for video game systems, personal computers, cellular handsets and the Internet. It markets its products under four brand names: EA SPORTS, EA, EA SPORTS BIG and POGO.

WTF is wrong with that?

I look forward to the Saltillo tile esplanade in Qualcomm and the bacon-wrapped hot dog vendors in the parking lot, and the low-price knit jerseys.

I'm not a superstitious kind of guy. I don't believe in that crap at all.

That being said, you couldn't pay me enough money to be on that cover.
