View Full Version : Who's the fattest person on here?

TinyEvel

Just wondering.

Like, maybe we can start a weight loss thread. You know, because it will possibly save a life and stuff.

I can go back to my Dr. phil avatar, etc.

Maybe start a contest: I'll give up drinking, and or every day I don't drink = 1 point and for every pound the opponent loses = 1 point. Declare winner after 50 days.

I'm not the fattest, but I could drop a good 30 to 40.

I was doing well until this six weeks or so of work, up 15 pounds from this time in August. It's amazing (and depressing) how much you can put on in a short period of time, and how long it takes to get rid of it.

Went to the doctor in July, tipped in at 303. After going through the attempted cardioversion, and dieting, I'm down to 286. Doc wants me to get around 240 by the end of next summer, so I've picked up an exercise bike, and I'm eating yogurt and salads most days for breakfast and lunch, but I really need to increase my activity level .

Time to get get serious about weightloss.

I'm in... I'm 5-10, 258 at last weigh-in (2 months ago), down from 272.

Not sure the stakes are even, though. Almost no one can lose 7 pounds per week, unless they aren't being healthy. The max most people can lose through HEALTHY measures is about 3-4 pounds per week, and that's usually only for significantly obese people.

I'm only 6' and 190-195 lbs, but I'm soft and non-athletic in just about every way. I woke up early this morning (I work in the afternoons) so I could go start working out. Something about Priest coming back inspired me... Yesterday anyway. Right now, I'd rather sit on Chiefsplanet in my sweats and talk about how I need to get to the gym. OK, F#ck it... I'm going.

I'm 6'0 and 246. I could stand to lose about 20 pounds but I do carry a lot of muscle. I used to work out really hard and often till about the last 10 years. I'd make a hell of a running back if I wouldn't die of a heart attack after a 5 yard sprint.

Especially if you were heavy before a weight loss. It's almost like you have a bunch of fat sponges that are dried out after a big weight loss and those little ****ers are eagerly waiting to be refilled with fat. It's easier to refill the sponges than to create them.

Damn Tiny, you want people to lose 50 pounds in 50 days? A person has to be mega fat to lose that kind of weight that quickly. A person is doing good, IMO, to lose about 3 lbs a week and that is about as much as a person can lose and be healthy. Hell, I was working out 6 days a week, 1 hour a night, and dieting to lose that kind of weight. So I think a 2.5 to 1 ratio is a lot more fair.

Yeah, 50lbs in 50 days is gonna get people on a fad diet. They'll lose the weight but gain it back too damn quick. In the last 3-4 weeks I've lost 8 pounds which is good because thats all you want to lose, about 2lbs a week. Another 20lbs and I'll be pumped. 6 foot 220lbs seems about right doesn't it?

I wasn’t going to say anything until I had lost more weight, but since this thread has started, I figured I can join in.

I’m 6’2” and 255. I’m down 25 lbs from the 280 I weighed in mid-August. I’ve been losing 2 – 3 lbs per week and hope to get to 235 (my wedding weight) by the end of this year. The ultimate goal is to get to 190 which is considered my “ideal body weight”. I hope to get there by the end of May.

I’m not a part of any program, I just decided to reduce my caloric intake to between 1500 and 2000 per day and have been walking nearly every day. I’ve made a point to be really strict to my diet during the week and conscious of what and how much I eat on the weekend without being overly zealous.

This hasn’t been too hard. The most difficult thing is forcing myself to jump on the treadmill since I can’t seem to get there until 9:00 at night. I’m pretty worn out by then after working all day then spending some time with the kids and doing some chores.

TinyEvel

alright, I'll go 1 point for every day I don't drink, and whoever wants in can get 2.5 points for every lb. they lose.

Now is as good a time as any. People that give in to "holiday" eating aren't serious... and I'm as guilty as any, but I really think this year will be different.

6'5 250lbs, I lift weights a lot already, I'm in the gym 5-6 days a week, and I play in a flag football league on the weekends, and play basketball a lot. That being said I cheat too much on my diet, i will eat really good all day and then eat something bad which in turn counteracts all the good things I have eaten. I need to loose 25lbs, im at about 19-20% Body fat right now, I would imagine. I say we do it now, no better time than the present, I will report in with my weight loss, will be nice to have the site to be somewhat accountable for, after you eat a Big Montana.

I might have won this not too long ago. I'm 5'9, and the heaviest I ever saw myself on the scale was just about 270, and I know I was north of that for awhile. I've been watching the diet and working out 6 times a week since the beginning of June, and I'm down around 225ish. It's hard, though - I've had two "major" breakdowns in discipline since the beginning, one that I'm recovering from right now. It's like all those weeks of building up in the gym are gone in a poof after two weeks of free for all. My end goal weight is 185, but I'll be pretty happy getting under 200. I'm a bigger build guy and can carry weight well. Obviously, heh.

I'm so much cooler online
I'm so much cooler online.

I get home I kiss my mom
And she fixes me a snack
I head down to my basement bedroom
And fire up my Mac
In real life the only time
I've ever been to L.A.
Was when I got the chance with the marching band
To play tuba in the Rose Parade.

But online I live in Malibu
I pose for Calvin Klein
I've been in GQ
I'm single and I'm rich
And I got a set of six-pack abs that would blow your mind
It turns girls on that I'm mysterious
I tell 'em I don't want nothing serious
'Cause even on a slow day I can have a three-way chat
With two women at one time.

I'm so much cooler online
Yeah, I'm cooler online.

When you've got my kind of stats
It's hard to get a date
Let alone a real girlfriend
But I grow another foot and lose a bunch of weight
Every time I log in.

Online I'm out in Hollywood
I'm six foot five and I look damn good
Even on a slow day I can have a three-way chat
With two women at one time.

I'm so much cooler online
Yeah, I'm cooler online
I'm so much cooler online
Yeah, I'm cooler online

I only have about 10 pounds to lose, but the gym I frequent is starting a "biggest loser" competition next month. The winning team gets to meet the biggest losers from the show last year or something like that. I think they'll present the winners with the prize money (which will be like $20).

I don't know enough people around here that need to or want to lose that much weight, but I think it'll be a good motivator for me to lose that last 10 pounds. Although, they picked a horrible month to do this contest. The final weigh-in is three days after Thanksgiving. But I guess that was the day that those people from the show could come to our dinky little town.

I don't know how this is helpful to this thread, but I thought I'd share anyway.

I'm not trying to be offensive here, but you look more like you're 30 than 21.

I get that a lot. When I was in high school I worked out a lot and got really big, but then I stopped working out. Now Im like 260, and 6'1".

I've already decided that after my next paycheck (tomorrow) Im going straight to the gym thats right down from my house and forking over the $350 for a year membership.
