View Full Version : How badly will the Packers kick our ass?

Obviously, we're a lucky football team that gets by on the skin of it's teeth week to week. As the Jacksonville game shows, we can't compete with REAL football teams. With the mighty Green Bay Packers coming in after the bye week, we're ripe for a blowout. How much will we lose by? Bonus points to those who accurately forecast the number of interceptions Damon Huard throws.

The pack are not that good. We can beat them. They have NO running game and a decent defense...sounds familiar.

What's Favre's past in Arrowhead? I can't say I'm old enough to recall distinctly.

Their Dline will give us huge problems, however should be a pretty good game...

He's 0 for lifetime. Which means we will blow it.

I think we match up with them because they don't run the ball particularly well.

We absolutely destroyed them a 5 or 6 yrs ago (maybe longer). They were a top notch team at the time too.

Yes but they have the best defense in the league and a quarterback that puts ours to shame.

We will win. The NFC is a joke.

Jacksonville is better than Green Bay, but their defensive line will make it difficult for us. Its a winnable game, should be a close one either way though.

They're going to lose.

We have the pass rush to hurry & fluster Favre...& the secondary to stay on those WR's.

The key will be our run game, their CB's are excellent so i dont expect a big numbers day from our WR's or Huard.

Run the ball, rush the passer...Chiefs win.

They're going to do the same thing....it will probably be a 17-14 final.....if anyone gets to 20 that's the winner.

I really think we win this game. It's going to be at Arrowhead, and Farve is going to be prone to some interceptions. I just have a good feeling about this game. We get some time to heal up, come in fresh.

Chiefs win a close one. coming off our bye.
we won in Arrowhead in 96 when they won the SB after that season.

We matchup well. their Run game lacks. We can cover WR. Pass rush Favre.

You may be a Chiefs officionado, but a fan? I doubt it! About all you are is a Huard Homer!

Not only are we coming off the bye at home, the Packers are on the road on a short week (they play on MNF).

It depends on how much our defense has to make up for our horrible quarterbacking. Also, at home, Herm seems to actually let us play a little football on the offensive side of the ball. They're certainly not unbeatable. I do prefer their old dead guy to ours though.

wait... we beat the chargers right? Theyre a pretty solid team... the jags game was a game the chiefs could have, and should have won. Obviously offensively the jags did some good things, the chiefs on the other hand, made the jags look better then they were.

I'm not going to say the Chiefs should have beat the Jags, they pretty much kicked the shit out of the Chiefs and dominated that game.

The Chiefs are the only team in the NFL that Favre has never beaten.

No reason to think it doesn't stay that way. I'll enjoy watching Allen twisting him into a f#cking pretzel.

Dude, our quarterback is Damon Huard. And the Packers have this incredible defense. I mean, it's awesome. WAY better than ours.

We should be underdogs. GB is the better team.

This team isn't going to get any respect until it earns some respect. We haven't beat a team above .500. Green Bay is 5-1 and has 2 wins against teams with a combined record of 9-4.

Beating Green Bay, even at home, will do quite a bit to change that, IMO.

But it'll be a much tougher task than most here are giving credit for.

I don't see how anything that occured 4 years ago or even further back has any bearing on what the 2 teams are now...it's not like they play all the time or even played recently.

What if they had limited their running back's carries four years ago?
