Lots of good info on next weeks Giants/Dolphins in London. The NFL wants to make it a regular thing to play outside North America every year. It appears the Chiefs will play in Germany next year....

Solari will be the 2007 scapegoat and having only 7 home games will be the excuse in 2008.

So if a team only gets 7 home games in a year, will that team adjust the Season ticket package price??

Either way, its a pretty crappy way to treat your fans by taking away a home game.

American football should be played in AMERICA.

Chiefs in Europe next year.... I guess Carl/Clark request because of stadiumn renovations helped the cause. being good NFL citizens.... except asking to expand the playoffs.

Think of the t-shirt and jersey sales to an untapped market. The official fish and chips of Arrowhead stadium. The king is smelling profit.

That's where I quit reading. 3-3 at #3. His reason being "they are really coming on", he forgot to add "my chin".

This place will melt down completely when the schedule comes out and our "home" game in Germany is against Dungver or Sandy Eggo.

I have zero interest in giving up a home game to go play over seas. What a terrible idea.

Send the Giants to Germany. One of their away games this year, was against the Jets & they got away game with NO at home the year before

No. Carl will just raise ticket prices by at least 11% to make up for the one extra home game that the Chiefs fans aren't paying for.

Let's see, the Chargers are rated #3 and the Chiefs are #15, yet KC has a better record and beat SD by 2 touchdowns in their home stadium. Sure, that makes sense.

Tampa Bay, New Orleans, or Buffalo game will be overseas. I will say it will be the Chiefs vs. Tampa Bay in Germany next year.

It should be after the bye -- can't imagine how traveling overseas (even if it is only an hour or two longer than going to the west coast) impacts preparations.

Please it's not like the NFL ever made a team travel and play the same day.

Hey, with Denver playing the way they did last night, I fully expected to see them in the top five. Color me shocked we were still on the list with them not on it.

Right. Denver wins a game that no one thought they would win and doesn't make it, meanwhile San Diego advances a few positions on a bye.

Regardless of what King says, last nights play by the Broncos bothered me. San Diego has Norv to keep them in check, but the Genious pulled one out of his ass again last night. I already had us winning in Denver this year.

He makes a good point about Miami's drafting from '98 to '03:

"Miami had 59 picks total in those six drafts -- 46 used to draft players, and 13 used to trade for 10 other players (Tyrone Wheatley, Kevin Gogan, Jim Druckenmiller, Alonzo Mayes, Matt Turk, Ricky Williams, Jeff Ogden, Cade McNown, Jay Williams, Sage Rosenfels). They traded two ones and a four for Ricky Williams and a four in return and traded two sixes for McNown.

Zero for 59! Astonishing."

LEts see NFLE folded because of no interest outside of Germany.. And we are going to put the real product over there in a country that does not even like American Football.. Hopefully this shit flops hardcore where only a few thousand go and this idea goes away..

Our record in those drafts wouldn't be much better.

The chiefs only have three players from those 6 drafts still on the roster (Larry Johnson, Jimmy Wilkerson, and Greg Wesley).

Yep, next thing you know, they will be trying to put a team in L.A. again.

it is like agreeing to play without your best player. Why would you want to lose the advantage of the 12th man and one of the best home field advantage?

How about either preseason or the probowl. Shocked about a superbowl, but never, ever should they do regular season game.
