The problem is who in their right mind would want the NU job right now?
Callahan was like their 5th choice, and that was coming off a 10 win season. They may have to settle for the coach at Millard West.

He's better off calling a conultant like most other schools do.

Fred Petito-sp? Or is he at Millard North? You know I'm ready to settle for a guy who can inspire more than a pulse in the team at the moment.
I gave Callahan the benefit of a doubt because he had at least coached college football. But it's apparent he's been in the NFL too long.
And listening to Osborne it sounds like he'd like to go back to option and power football along with incorporating some spread offense passing attack.
The West Coast offense just isn't cutting it at Lincoln. I still don't know what the f*ck their trying to do on defense. :banghead:

You know what bothers me the most is that I live almost on the NE/Wyoming border and Colorado is 70 miles SW of here and we have the Rutgers and West Virginia game on the local ABC station. :banghead: :cuss: :banghead:

I know he didn't hire Peterson, I meant a recommendation.
I just think he should hire a consultant to work with him. It's not a knock on TO, lots of schools are doing that now.

It's been that way a lot this season. We're in the middle of Big 12 country yet we seem to be getting east coast games or Pac 10 games this year. I'm thinking they must have a new program mngr at the ABC station this year.
