Pennington used to be decent when he played in the Hackett directed offense. It helped disguise his negatives. Ill bet a guy like Jon Gruden could turn him around.

Pennington is also much more mobile within the pocket, although hopefully that Dwayne Bowe bomb in the Raiders game started a trend of a little more escapability.

I like Huard a lot. But as our vet backup. I voted Huard because (1) he can be a very good insurance policy if our real starter goes down, and (2) because I'm tired of this "grass is greener on the other side of the fence" attitude that many fans here have.

That was the Thigpen option in earlier poll, listing Croyle, Huard, Pennington, and Thigpen.

The only thing I haven't decided, is which temple, right or left?
