(CBS4) DENVER - Two more Denver Broncos were lost for the season Thursday.

CBS4's Gary Miller confirmed wide receiver Rod Smith has been declared inactive for the rest of the season and Jarvis Moss suffered a season-ending injury in practice Thursday afternoon.

Smith tried to come back after hip surgery and practiced all week, but the team decided to shut him down for the season. He would not talk to reporters after Thursday's practice.

Also, first-round draft pick defensive end Jarvis Moss is out for the rest of the season after fracturing his right fibula during practice.

Moss is the fifth Bronco lost for the season due to injury.

Ouch, tough way to lose your first rounder. There's gonna be more than enough Bronco offensive line one-liners to go around on that one.

Stay healthy, and you've got a chance.
Down linemen getting hurt will really screw your defense, though.
Bitch of a way for a rookie to start out his NFL career, that's for sure.

Ryan Sims never could seem to stay
healthy. He was always going down
with injury. He proved he was a bitch
in Tampa Bay, however.

Nah, he proved he was a bitch here in KC.

Stay in Kansas City? Ryan Sims would never have been
down with that. I heard that he was nailing a different
bitch every night of the week though.

I feel sorry for Jarvis, mostly that he's a member of that POS organization.

I'm not rooting for injury or anything, but that's likely the last we'll see against Smith, and that enthralls me.

Moss has looked pretty decent, but hasn't shown yet that he can be the Jason Taylor that the Donks' DC obviously wants him to be.

It'll be a while before we find out, but that's what happens. I wish him luck in physically recovering but I wish him the worst on the football field.

As much of a unique talent that he is, Jarvis will never be a Jason Taylor.

In spite of the difficult circumstances and obstacles, the Denver Broncos will come together as a team, rebound with a winning streak and bring home a 2007 AFC West Championship to the Mile High City. The run starts now.

Now if Travis "Dimebag" Henry gets suspended, I just don't know what I'll do...

In spite of the difficult circumstances and obstacles, such as obeying salary-cap rules, laws prohibiting smoking dope, and other laws prohibiting driving under the influence, the Denver Donkeys will implode as a team, rebound with a losing streak and bring home the 2007 AFC West Doormat Award to the Pile High City. The run starts now.

FYP.

OK. I will try to start.

Apparently they cut block in practice as well as games.

10 years in the AFCW basement.....lamentations of their fanbase and I'll only laugh for anther decade.

I don't cheer the injuries, but I have to say, there is some satisfaction in the destruction of donkeyville.
