Those making plans for the Border War football game might have to wait a little longer to get them finalized.

ABC has decided to wait until Nov. 17 to decide which game it wants to televise on Nov. 24 between Kansas University-Missouri and Oklahoma-Oklahoma State. As a result, the kickoff times for both rivalry games also are on hold.

ABC will televise one game at 7 p.m. on Nov. 24. Fox Sports Net will televise the other game at 2:30 p.m.

Originally, ABC was supposed to decide no later than Thursday. But the network’s contract with the Big 12 allows for a certain number of times in which a six-day window can be exercised. ABC chose to use one of those options for the Nov. 24 games.

does anyone know if tailgating rules (3 hours before kickoff) apply to this game?

I don't have a dog in the fight, but I can't imagine ABC would pick OU-OSU unless KU and/or MU stumble between now and then.

Of course I am. KSU won't be a problem I dont think. Playing in Colorado is always tuff, but MU has the team to do it.

I hope they play at 7pm. If Fox Sports has an HD channel I don't get it, and would take the late game to get it in ABC HD. Also I am driving back from Toledo that day and I will be able to get home by 7 to watch instead of listen.

I've got a friend that is a KSU football fan & a KU basketball fan. Here's how he describes it....

Step 1 - Grow up KU bball fan.
Step 2 - Go to KU.
Step 3 - Follow girl to KSU.
Step 4 - Promptly break up with girl.
Step 5 - Start going to KSU football games - nothing really else going on.
Step 6 - Discover that it's ok to be an idiot.
Step 7 - Start defending yourself to both KU & KSU fans.

Not if you won't get to see it. I'd rather be able to watch the game and FoxSports always ends up being national. If its on ABC I'll get Oregon @ UCLA instead.
