Didn't you see the warning? This thread is bound to get deleted.
And I have no idea what all out there qualifies as an Olympic sport. Of those I have watched, I'd probably have to vote for curling.

Skiing and firearms? Please.
Both are useful skills. But curling? C'mon, that's purely retarded.

What better way to ensure that i'll give even LESS of a damn about the Olympics.

Anything without a clock or a measuring tape, that includes judgement of the performance (like ski jumping), is not a sport.
Ski jumping: If the jumper lands without touching his/her hand or ass on the snow, makes a good jump. Why factor in "how" the flight/landing is made, when the physics of jumping and landing dictate the distance?
Two exceptions, although I don't really consider them olympic events: baseball and softball.
Nothing is more boring than sitting thru events like ice dancing, figure skating, snow board half-pipe, mogul skiing, gymnastics, and diving; but this stuff is crap that consumes most of the air time.
I'm just too old-school.

Agreed.
I kinda understand the shuffleboard aspect of the game but how does one go about becoming the guys who follow it with a broom?

They must not be blessed with the same INCREDIBLE range of physical skills as the shot-makers.
