Lower right leg injury. Cutler is reportedly ready to walk out of the locker room. No definitive word yet on whether he'll play.

They would play Elway if they could get the drink out of his hand.

There were plenty of Broncos fans around here that already did when it happened.

Cuts both ways, bro.

Can I go back and retroactively lol at the Geathers hit on Green?Maybe you should call in a favor to the G-Man and pray for an injury to our starting QB.

You know, to reciprocate.

Limping badly. Difficulty walking down stairs, according to Denver radio. Heavy tape job. Probably available only for emergency duty.

They haven't given the injury a name yet.

Sounds like he'll be back next week.

Now they're saying lower left leg instead of lower right leg.

I'm not sure if it's local media or Cutler that can't tell right from left.

Travis Henry got up and went back down. Can't put much weight on his left leg.

ClevelandBronco

Also, LT Matt Lepsis got banged up a few minutes ago and he's out.

I would not have expected the Lions to be that rough. You guys are getting torn up this game and not just on the scoreboard.

When you're bad, injuries tend to start to pile up as people lose heart to fight through them.

Yup.

BTW: Travis Henry is back in on this drive.

But that just proves what we all know already. He enjoys "taking a hit" now and then.

The backup QB is having one hell of a game. He fumbled, which was returned for a touchdown and he also threw a TD to the defensive lineman, Shaun Rodgers which went the other way

43-0.

The Lions only have 14 points on offense.

Word is that tests on Cutler have come up negative. No major damage.

Not that it matters much. The season is on crutches.

Jay Cutler-QB- Broncos Nov. 4 - 6:17 pm et

Profootballtalk.com reports Jay Cutler may have suffered a broken ankle in Sunday's blowout loss to Detroit.

PFT cites "early word on the NFL grapevine." Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan holds his press conference late Monday afternoon, so we'll likely know for sure by then. If Cutler has a fractured ankle, Patrick Ramsey will take over as the Broncos' full-time starter for the second half of the season. It'd be depressing news for owners of any Broncos skill players.

I guess this puts his entry into the HOF on hold for a while?

Perhaps. Shanny's been known to fudge injuries before.

But he said in an after-game radio interview that "We know it's not broken."

We'll see.

Canton should probably hold his nomination in abeyance for another 20 years or so.

ESPN says Cutler just had his foot amputated. Shanny says he's probable for next week.

The Mange reported Cutler will play next week and be a special inductee into HOF right after the Chiefs Game.

It depends upon if you are looking at him from the front or the back.
