View Full Version : This team has a ton of problems...

Yes O-line obviously...
Punt Returner
Pass coverage mixups
Starting QB (hopefully we fixed that today)
Kris Wilson experiment...
We are not anywhere near a playoff caliber team...but hopefully our young players can continue to grow this year.

I think Priest clearly ran better today than LJ has. And not because he had bigger holes against a bad run D. He ran harder and with more elusiveness.
Too bad Priest isn't the future. But it indicates that it wasn't just "LJ is fine, the OL sucks."

Just didnt want people to lay it all on Huard.
There are alot of issues with this team. WTF happened to the defense the past 2 weeks? Or was that a mirage?

And this is new news? They are a shitty team in a shitty division. I don't think they'd beat the Dolphins right now.
The offensive coordinator needs to go. Huard needs to be a permanent backup. Hermie needs to stop acting smart. He's not.

Not all. But a lot.
The OL still sucks. But Croyle made far more throws under pressure than Huard has. Huard has been holding us back, big time.

The defense has sputtered. Maybe they're sick of playing 45 minutes a game. I don't know. When I played football, I was happy to play as much as possible.

Priest does a better job of making chicken salad out of chicken sh*t.
I cant argue that. LJ is the better breakaway threat.

It starts and ends with Carl. His patchwork teams are historically average. Oh well, it's looking more and more like FIFTEEN maddening years without one, single playoff victory-that's atrocious. Carl needs to be replaced.

So far, 20 for 65. That includes a 14-yard loss in the red zone.
He made a lot of positive, albeit small, gains that LJ hasn't been able to by hitting the line hard and slipping past the first defender.

Oh yea, most def. Huard shares a huge load of the blame, but Croyle isnt a miracle worker either.
Herm has alot of work to do with the whole team.

We have the following holes:
C, RG, LT (move McIntosh to RT)
After this season, we need to think about replacing
CB, CB, WLB
We also have potential problems at SS, LDE (depending on Allen's contract) and the NT position.
We also need a new kick and punt returner, and a receiver(s) to replace who leaves of Kennison, Parker, and Webb

Pretty much....thats a ton of holes, and we still dont know how Croyle will turn out??
Man, its time for Carl to go in a bad way....

Thank you for saying so. Carl put us in this mess, every ****ing year for 15 years straight. I'm done not screaming that same sentiment rather loudly. Carl might be the worse GM in football.

But he's good enough to keep the stadium full and keep the team "competitive" which was always good enough for Lamar, we'll see if that stays the same.

A playmaker at MLB would also be nice. Harris is serviceable most games, but was horrid today.
May need a QB too.
We are miles from anywhere.

The Chiefs should throw money at Alan Faneca this off-season. Find someone who can play LT, move McIntosh to RT, and start Niswanger at center. This team will never really compete with this Oline.

To be honest, we need another starting WR. THREE young, upcoming CBs. A starting LT, a starting Center, a starting RG, and RT. Also, a starting FB, a back-up HB, another QB, return man, and a starting SS and better understudies for the LBing corp. Carl's patchwork teams every year have finally shown even the blind of his indequate GM skills. Time to give it up, Carl.

I think Croyle played extreamely well for how bad the team played. The end of the game was horrible, Denver pretty much gave us a TD and we still couldn't get it.

Wait....so when I said the Chiefs should consider replacing Pollard a couple weeks ago...some people flipped out on me..
Now it seems everyone thinks that, what changed that opinion?

You're correct.
1 Offensive Coordinator 220lbs
4 new offensive linemen@ 310lbs each
1 FB 245lbs
1 Ton of problems.
I'll give you the bonus weigh-in for the additional younger Corners, QB challenger that will be brought in and other depth players to include the shitty special teams players "blockers" and returner.

Dude, shut the f**k up. You say every Chief sucks so zip it ya little cocksucker.
I've said Pollard sucks all season. The reason it's not as big an issue as others we have is because he's young. It's much more crucial that this team finds a decent No. 2 WR, an entire OL, a DT and some CBs before replacing either safety.

I still haven't gave up on Pollard, he has the ability to be good, it just takes time. Young players usually have to grow into their role. There are many more areas I'm worried about before Pollard.

I really don't think I'll mind watching Croyle, even if he struggles.
I already admitted to myself this season was a rebuild.....I'd like to actually use it to do that.
If Croyle plays(and he should be the rest of the year)....we'll know if he's improving, or if the Chiefs need to get a QB.
Get those young olinemen in the game and playing......find out how many people need to be fired this offseason.
They can share bus fare with an OC and ST coach.....

Yes.2 weeks in a row that I have had to watch opposing teams fans celebrate in front of me. It sicken's me...we have the one of the worst O lines in football...and a moron for an offensive coord. 3 times this year I have seen us get beaten like a grand canyon mule at Arrowhead. I am sick of it.

San Diego is still screwing us even though they havent had the best of seasons thus far.
Why cant they just take control of this division and run away with it like they should, so Herm can play the young guys??? :)

Not early enough...I am fortunate to live 15 minutes from Arrowhead. I did walk out with StevieRay who happened to be taking crap from some DA drunk....hope he clocked him. Bob after 12 years this Carl shit is getting old. If this crap keeps up I would like to see a boycott of the last game.
