I was just wondering if he was known to take off if no one was open at Alabama

He's got to be faster than Huard.
Huard's got to have the NFL's first 6.0+ 40 time. I'm sure of it.

he moves as well as Plummer when he played
From what I've seen, not so much.
I'd categorize him as a semi-mobile pocket passer. He uses his legs to buy time, but he doesn't look to run.

I think it will help if he can run for some first downs when things break down. I just hope He stays healthy and has a great year!
unless Roaf Shields and Alt announce their return, we're gonna find out this weekend pretty quickly

He can probably top Huard's 9 Rushes for -1 yard.

Will he have any choice?

He's got a good arm, but I doubt he could even see open receivers in Alabama, let alone throw that far.

Thanks for the video, ChiefsCountry.
Croyle looks like a pretty good athlete.
Hios two main problems are throwing off his back foot and too many frozen ropes at close range. If he learns to develop a touch pass and set his feet, he could be damn good.

Here is Croyle's best stat from his Bama days -his junior & senior years (the years you are suppose to be the best) - he went 13-2 as a starter without him Alabama was 3-6.

Will he have any choice?
Probably not
Another reason Huard shouldn't have been starting, he can't avoid pressure.

Great highlight reel.
He wants to chuck it, but looked more than capable on the move.

Will he have any choice?
Of course, he could either run, or do a Huard and curl up and assume the position.

Ha. Just noticed that an Auburn troll hit Brodie's wikipedia entry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brodie_Croyle#College_career).
His 2,499 passing yards were the highest single-season total in Alabama history and he totalled 202 completions and 339 passing attempts to rank as the second-best seasonal marks in school annals.[1] His 2,311 yards of total offense were the third-best seasonal mark in school history and his 1.18 interception percentage was the lowest single-season mark in school history.[1] Croyle attempted a school-record 190 passes without an interception[1] in his senior season.
Despite all of these accomplishments, many already know that he will be best remembered for leading the Crimson Tide to 5 straight losses against the Auburn Tigers, the first time this had ever happened in Alabama's once-proud but now lackluster football program.

We should troll the Broncos wikipedia page

Thats pretty funny though, it does sound like an Auburn fan wrote that.

Forrest Gump played at 'Bama, that's good enough for me.
Based on all the Brodie threads, I'm thinking there are some here who would like Brodie to scramble them a few eggs in the morning after a night of manly lust. NTTAWWT, of course.

Brodie's time in the 40 has been reported to be 4.83 and another time it was 4.90. That is about average for most NFL quarterbacks. Take a look at Brady's time if you want to see a real slow poke.
# Cutler threw a 71 yard touchdown to Brandon Marshall in his debut. This is one of the longest TD passes in a debut in NFL history.
# Cutler broke Dan Marino's record as he became the first QB to throw for 2 or more touchdowns in each of his first four starts.
# Is rumoured to be a closet homosexual.
# Jay Cutler is the first ever Denver Bronco from Vanderbilt University.
# Cutler became NBC's Sunday Night Football's Co Horse Trailer Player of the game after Denver's win over Pittsburgh Steelers on October 21.
# Jay Cutler graduated Vanderbilt with a BA in Urban Economics.
# Jay briefly appears in the South Park episode, "Guitar Queer-o." The show is set in Colorado, so the characters are Broncos fans. They meet him and say, "Nice to meet you. I mean, you kinda suck, but my dad says you might be good someday."

Problem is, we haven't seen Brodie scramble at all this year. I think he can get a few 1st downs if allowed to...
