UConn moves on in the first game. Memphis/Oklahoma coming up. Rooting for the Tigers. They'll spank us, but at least they'll help the SOS in the process. Plus I can't remember ever playing Memphis.

Jesus ****ing Christ, how much money did Calhoun give these refs at the 5-minute mark?

Not hard to make a big comeback when it's 8 on 5. This may be the most blatantly lopsided officiating I've ever seen.

"Ooh, Thabeet fell down! Call a foul on Taggart. Ooh, he bounced the ball after the whistle! Call a technical!"

Memphis'll pull away in the 2nd once Dorsey goes back in. No need to whine, Psi.

WHINE? **** off.

We've been in the lane the entire ****ing night, and they don't call anything, yet the refs apparently took it upon themselves to make it a game by deciding to only call fouls on one team tonight.

Was the Taggart T justified? Shit, was the Taggart FOUL justified? Why is Thabeet allowed to slap Rose? Why is CDR called for a charge on a block when UConn is allowed to push off every time they touch the ball?

This is absolute bullshit.

You're way too wound up for the first half of a 1 point game on November 16th that you're likely going to win comfortably.

Dyson just posterized Dorsey.

Thabeet's such a push over. I didn't think it was possible to be 7'3" and a pussy.

Ultra Peanut

How was that on Taggart?! Antonio committed that one...

Why haven't they even briefly acknowledged that the dunk they're orgasming over happened because Dorsey wasn't going to risk a foul just to recklessly challenge a two point play? Yeah, nice play, but at that point Dorsey had already begun imitating a no-armed man.

New career high for Buckets!

Detroit is awesome, if only for Buckets and the MCMGs (cool band name, that). And the similarities: great talkers, great at what they do, hawt...

YOU SHUT UP DORSEY IS AN AWESOME FREE THROW S--damnit.

Thabeet's a waste of space.I have to admit, I laugh every time they mention the possibility of him leaving for the NBA. You can see where he could be a good player, but yikes.

Price is outstanding.

After two years, I just realized how much Dozier resembles a baby turtle.

Good game. CDR was too much. That was about the best I could expect.

His best asset is his free throw shooting. That should tell you plenty about his game. He's terrible offensively, always out of position defensively, gets pushed around on both ends, and is an awful rebounder for someone his size.

UConn is going to be really solid, especially if Thabeet ever puts it together. He's like Earl Barron and Duane Erwin's terrified offspring out there.

Hey, what the hell happened to Reno 911!'s theme song, anyways?

Dyson just posterized Dorsey.

Just wanted to make the point that late in the game, when it was pretty much decided (and Dorsey didn't care if he committed a foul), Dyson tried to throw down on him again. Dorsey absolutely put the ball right back in his face. I enjoyed it.

I'm wondering if there's a better three man "core" than CDR, Rose and Dorsey. Those three will dominant their positions throughout the year. The rest of the team is very good as well, but being able to lean on those three in a tight game is huge.

The comforting thing is that Kemp, Allen, and Anderson have really been struggling with their shots so far. There's really nowhere for those three to go but up.
