Neither of those teams are better than OU at any point of the season.

Why? Only reason people automatically assume OU is better than both is because they have the big name program. MU lost AT OKLAHOMA and played them tough. I think OU would of actually lost at Missouri by a larger margin.

The teams are all fairly evenly matched, and the difference is negligible, but to KNOW if one or the other is better than either one just doesn't make any sense right now.

cool story... I took my 6 year old to see Frank White at a local dealership... he had seen the 1985 DVD and knew that Frank is a World Champion... then Frank signed his Royals jersey.

in fact, it was on KSHB news, as the Royals had just seleceted Hillman as the manager and they wanted his reaction. So, we have his moment captured on film.

That's a silly argument. There are QBs who were above average and did great in the NFL and great college QBs who downright sucked in the NFL. There are also great college qbs who were great pros too.

Texas Tech produces system QBs that put up staggering numbers. So does Hawaii.

When you throw it 60 times a game, every game, you're gonna have incredible statistics.

Inflated college statistics don't make a legit NFL qb.

Inflated college statistics don't make a legit NFL qb.

I don't question the fact that college success doesn't always equate to pro success. Especially for QB's. We've all seen first round flops again and again.

This kid is doing a very, very good job though. He's ripping the OU pass D to shreds. He's been accurate and flashed decent arm strength. The sportscasters were mentioning that he is given a lot of leeway in play calling so you know he's making decisions out there.

I'd say he's worth a look. I'm not going by his stats-I don't know his stats-but I'd rather take a college QB in a pass happy O then one that threw 15 times a game for a team with a brutal running game and a killer D.

Too bad for you that the Broncos FO isn't that stupid. KC is going to need a back up QB that can throw more than 25 yards next year, though. Maybe they should burn a late rounder on him.

Yep, burning that untradable compensatory third rounder on a longshot RB and signing him to an incredibly friendly contract really crippled our organization. If you're going to talk shit about our drafts at least put a little effort into it. We've had some stinkers. MoC was just a roll of the dice that didn't pan out. Acceptable risk.

We couldn't see what happened to cause the ball to get in the TT's guy's hands. We don't know if he pulled it out while the guy was already on the ground, or in the air. The replays didn't ****ing show that. Am I missing something here?

Maybe another angle, he clearly has that ball and a foot down, he gets it taken away as he gets on the ground out of bounds.

There is a rule, stating that if a defender caught the ball the same time the receiver does, and they both go down, while inbounds, the receiver wins by default. That's what I saw.

And I'm aware that the defender got it at the last minute, but the ground can't cause the ball to be loose.

I know this. But the issue is whether he actually had control of the ball at the time he caught it. The fact he didn't come out of there with the ball suggests he didn't fully have it.

We don't know if the defender had pulled the ball away from him in the air, or if they were already on the ground.

Oklahoma is still the top, and they own the tie-breaker over Texas, becuase they beat them head on. Oklahoma wins the South if they beat Oklahoma St.
