That really hurt, I know the Colts were marching down the field but that just gave them the score.

Didn't matter anyways. They were gonna score one way or another.

Our lone TD probably shouldn't have been a TD.

The horsecaller penalty is bullshit in general, this isn't ballroom dancing for christ's sake.

Didnt matter much.

Why was it BS? It was clearly a horsecollar tackle.

He only got the jersey. He didn't have the shoulder-pads.

If you ignore that it's completely LEGAL to tackle by the rear of the jersey.

That's the thing - you could see he just grabbed the jersey. The announcers said it was a bad call. But it wasn't a game deciding call.

seriously? He had both feet in, controlled it to the ground, and got up with it, it doesnt matter if he had it between his legs or not.

Maybe if it was, KC could score more than 10 points.

That penalty ended up being about a 2 yard penalty, didn't it?

Yeah. I'll take that every day instead of a TD. Though it would have been nice to see DJ smack Addai on the subsequent play. He left his jock on the field there.

That call was one thing, but then to not call it later when a Colts defender pulled down Priest (I think) by the collar was BS. The guy let go on the back end of the tackle, but he began bringing Priest down with his hand deep in the horse collar area. The fact that he let go shouldn't mean anything when he'd already started pulling him down in that manner.

What about the non-call on the Horse Collar Tackle on Priest later on in the game? He started bringing him down w/ a Horse Collar and then let go after Priest started to fall down and made it look like a normal tackle.

I'd have left it as a non-call except for the fact they called a BS nitpicky horse collar on the Chiefs.

From my perspective (not seeing the game, just reading here and listening to the Fox) the bs was due to the lateness of the flag. I have never heard of such blantant pandering to the home crowd by the referees. :shake:

Yeah, that was the other part of it. Definitely a call after the play.

Not worried about that call at all. For the refs, that was the only call they really could make without the use of a replay. If we start using replays to determine penalties I will scream.
