There is soo much smack going back and forth... so much passion with these two schools. But did you even go to school at KU or MU?

Me too. I enrolled as a back up to my plan to move to California, and in a stupor of basketball admiration after the championship, but never actually attended. If they had a real film program, I probably would have stayed.

Even my dabbling in UCLA waters didn't faze this Jayhawk fan.

I was a KU fan a long time before I was of college age. When it came time to apply I was accepted at KU for pre-med studies (I don't think it's actually called pre-med). I was on an Air Force ROTC scholly. Went there for a year 96-97 and had to come back to Pennsylvania and drop the scholarship.

To earn money we cleaned up Memorial Stadium after football games. One time it rained over night and the temp dropped below 20 with the wind chill. The trash was frozen to the ground. That was fun. We were allowed on the field right after we lost to Coy Detmer and CU. Kind of neat being out there amongst all the players and coaches and stuff.

So yeah, I didn't graduate from KU but they did take some of my money!

I had tickets. I'm in St. Louis tonight, my sister was in a head on collision car wreck this morning. Six hours of surgery in St. Anthony's Hospital tonight. Broken ankle, leg, ribs, plastic surgery on forehead. Guy hit her doing 50 in the wrong lane.

She's lucky to be alive.
And she'll be OK, hopefully, after about six months of rehab.

Been a long day for Mr. Blowfish. Somebody else went in my stead.
Had tickets for tomorrow night too, but I'll be driving home to KC.

BTW: who won? Last I saw Michigan St. was up by 3.

My grandfather got both a BS and MS degree in ag from MU. He also worked for MU and was provided on-campus housing for much of his employment time. I spent much of my childhood literally on the MU campus. My Aunt got both her BS and MS degrees in Pshycology there. Dad attended for a year before going to work. Mom worked there for quite a while when I was a kid.

And yes, I attended there for 2 years majoring in Fisheries and Wildlife before transfering to Central Bible College where I got my BA.

So, I have a long history with MU and have rooted for the Tigers (Or at least hoped when it comes to football for 25 years).

Thanks. I'm going to the High Ridge, MO police dept this AM to get police report. Turns out the guy was doing over 50 when they hit. His truck flipped into a culvert, sister's car stayed upright on the road. The road is a narrow, curvey 2 lane blacktop. High Ridge is very hilly, just south of Six Flags.

Then I have to go deal with the insurance guy. That'll be fun...

All the surgery went OK last night, I'm coming home to KC tonight.
