Heard Whitlock guest hosting for Jim Rome today. He called out all Sports writers and coaches on the polls. Said if either KU or MU wins out, and any of them try to screw them out of playing in the national championship he would do everything in his power to destroy them.

Said he would use his column, and that he had a reputation for not playing nice with the media. Ended the rant with a warning that if they tried it, they should just know, "your ass is mine".

My thoughts exactly. It was liberating to hear him on the national stage threatening the media establishment unapologetically.

I wish Whitlock would drop a few pounds. We're gonna miss him when he finally has a coronary.

If the BCS would get rid of the Harris poll....One subjective poll is enough....and just used the math and one subjective poll....we'd be alright. The biggest problem for MU and KU is they play in such a weak conference.

The Big 12 might not be as deep as the SEC, but it's on par with the Pac-10 for No. 2. MUCH, much better than the Big East and Big Ten. And better at the top than the ACC.
