The NFL requires a discipline and work ethics that are crazy for most even in college much less in life.

I believe in teaching from example and not preaching BS.

Truthfully, Ive always wondered this as well, but there is zero fact to it.

There have been tons of successful coaches at every level who are overweight.

Coaches lack discipline in several areas. It's "do as I say, not as I do". Andy Reid and Bill Belichick obviously lack discipline in regards to their children, but seem to do just fine with their football teams.

The guy is fat, we all know. In actuality, I feel sorry for the guy, even if he did bring a lot of it on himself. He's a good coach, and seems like a pretty honorable guy.

not all players are required to lose weight. some players are expected to put weight on.

If I were a player that needed to gain weight, i would want a coach that could sympathize.
