Enough is enough. This dumb sonofabitch has to go. Wasting two timeouts and your last challenge on a call that has no hope of being overturned. And that vaunted defense that he built just got anally raped by Justin f*cking Fargas. 3rd and 11, are you f*cking kidding me?

I think everyone should pick 1 or 2 items from their Chiefs collection and mail it to Arrowhead in protest with a little note that reads: until you right the ship, we're going to stop spending money on this crap.

Perhaps one of the worst losses in years. I'm frankly stunned. Herm says Raynor is our guy, defense is our strength, blows timeouts, doesn't trust his offense, doesn't trust his kicker, and demonstrates abysmal game management.

I honestly don't think he has a clue about this team and, this week, I fully expect him to start throwing people under the bus in droves.

We need to back up and start over. Start building with an oline that can give us some semblance of an offense. Sh*t.

Unbelievable. Herm saying using the extra timeout didn't matter because we didn't stop them. Saying that Kolby was tired, but gave him the ball on the 4th and 1 anyhow. Saying that "somebody" called him from the booth to make the challenge. Saying we should have gotten more points in the red zone.

So ... it's the defense's fault, it's somebody in the booth's fault, it's Kolby's fault, and it's the O's fault for not scoring points (even though we made no attempts to pass into the endzone - so far as I could tell from the radio.)

On the bright side, Kolby may be the real deal, Brodie showed confidence, poise, and courage under fire, and Bowe continues to impress.

You're right, Mr. Fly O.T. McWall. He has every reason to expect to get 1 yard in crunch time. We had been running the ball pretty darn well.

However, please keep this in mind. He's said in his post-game presser that Kolby was "tired" by the time they ran that play. Nevertheless, you're correct. We lost more than one wheel in this crash.

Getting Herm Edwards for this is like getting Al Capone for tax evasion. Sure, he's guilty in this case of being a total moron, but his overall play-not-to-lose, stay in the game until the 4th quarter is the real crime.

My wish for the next head coach of the Chiefs is to be aggressive on both sides of the ball. On offense, score however you can; on defense, either take the ball or kill the ball carrier however you can.

Is that so much to ask for?

So who do you bring in? I believe Cowher said he would not coach until his kids got out of school. ( Another 2-3 years) So he is off the list. Marty got run out on a rail no way he comes in. Garrett is being groomed for Dallas no way Jerry lets him go. So then who? I guess Norv Turner might be available after this season.

Last week

I just can't change my opinion about Herm now. I've done a complete 180 and I'm not going back.

The man has so much conviction in his own approach to the game, and so much energy, at some point he's bound to a win a Super Bowl. He's gonna WILL that Lombardi to One Arrowhead Drive if he has to.

I hope he's here for 15 years.

Ok lets look at this .... give Garrett a contract to coach the Chiefs and all of their offensive struggles next year. Or be the OC for Dallas one more year and take over that squad with a new stadium, a high paying GM, and one of the most recongnized franchises in the NFL. Ummm as much as I love the Chiefs I see no upside for Garrett here. Remember just because someone offers a job does not mean they will take it.

I don't know, did the timeouts really hurt us given the way the rest of the game played out, Mr. boogblaster? It was just stupid.

Even stupider was the call on 4th and 1. Either A) Go for the FG and tie the game or B) Don't run a play from the identical formation that the Raiders had already seen half a dozen times already.

My burn comes from the fact that, post game, a Raider was saying they recognized the play immediately and were ready for it because we'd already run it 4 or 5 times from the same formation. A Raider!! With a 3rd grade education!! It's ridiculous.

At this point in time I'd actually bring back Marty. We need a new GM. We got a new owner last year. It is time for him to emerge from daddys big shadow and make this HIS team, if he gives enough of a shit to. Fire Carl and appoint himself temporary GM until a suitable candidate can be found to replace him. That would send a clear and unmistakable shiver me timbers up and down the entire Arrowhead complacency brigade that it is finally time to shit or get off the pot. They would all be playing for their jobs as toilette cleaners and waterboys at that point.

It is time for complete makeover. No one is sacred. The Carl/Marty/Gunther/DV/Herm are over, for better or worse.
