I think it's a no Brainer (also known as a "Herm Brainer") that if we aren't going to use a guy at the 38 yd line, then he needs bus fare quick.

This is the best list I could come up with (for this year), but feel free to suggest others:

( in no particular order)

Martin Gramatica

Kurt Smith

Billy Cundiff

Aaron Elling

Nick Novak

Tony Yelk

David Lonie

Marc Hickok

E.J. Cochrane

Aaron Barret

John Carney

Gary Anderson (48 yrs old)

Matt Prater

Justin Medlock

Rhys Lloyd

Mike Vanderjagt

The fact we have no kicker for how many years now, no real FB to help with that pesky thing called blocking.......what makes you think they will fix the kicker position?

All of 'em. Give them all 10 FG tries from the 50-, 40- and 25-yard lines and give the job to whoever kicks the closest to 30 total field goals while making 7 or better from 40 yards out and 6 or better from 50 yards out.

Preferably they should get one that will kick Herm Edwards and Solari out of the fu#kin stadium.

There appears to be as much interest in this question as there is in 2008 season tickets.

he cant kickoff and he cant kick past the 40. no thanks.

So what. Just let some ST player squib it every time. Can't be any worse than what we're doing now. BucBall requires a money kicker.

This may be a good time to try that experiment about never trying field goals and always going for it on fourth down. Might be fun.

I'd give that a shot.

If you're not interested in these types of decisions, you may as well abandon the Chiefs for 10 months.
