personally, I hope you all whip OU's ass

even those I hate MU, I really gained a lot of respect for you all. almost every MU fan handled themselves with class during tailgating, the game, and afterwards. plus you all have a good team...i thought the two teams were very even (meaning both are pretty damn good) and that the intagibles were even. KU survived after a slow start and extremely poor red zone results in their first 4 trips. MU survived some questionable Pinkel decisions and undisciplined play (penalties). The better team won on the neutral field, but I wouldn't say you are better by a whole lot.

Consider me one Jayhawk fan who will be rooting for his most hated rival come Saturday! and it has nothing to do with us going to a BCS bowl

Its been broken several times. Hell I read an article the other day that teams have been doing better after making the cover recently...except KU of course ;)

Up until this season, Mizzou had:

- Never won the Big 12 North

- Not won 10 games in a season since 1960

- Not been ranked #1 since 1960

- Never been ranked #1 in the BCS

- Not won at Colorado or Kansas State in 10+ years

That's where I'm at as well and it feels weird. Many KU and MU fans that I talked to were very good about the whole ordeal. The two fan bases hate each other, but I think there is currently a lot of mutual respect. I (obviously) hope that MU beats OU and would be glad if KU got a BCS bowl out of the deal as well.

I'll chime in as well to this effect. I feel like a bit of a whore having to pull for you guys this week, but if it helps KU, then ok. You guys earned all of the shots you've taken at KU and it's fans. I have great respect for Mizzou's football team, and have gained some measure of respect for some of it's fans.
