RUMOR:Kirk Ferenz possibly to Michigan?

It's just a rumor that they are going to talk; what do you Iowa folk think of this?
Personally, I totally believe we need to go far away from the Lloyd Carr way of doing things and he is a very well respected Head Coach in the country.

I know it's a Kansas/Missouri board - anyone?

I think Michigan should strive for someone better, but I'm not sure much better is available this year.

Mangino is the coach of the year, maybe they could go after him. He could hold his own up there.

JMO-I don't think it's gonna happen...KF is getting paid pretty well at his current job, and over the past 3 or 4 days they have gotten two verbal commitments from players contingent on him remaining the coach at Iowa.

They've recruited to run a pro-style offense. They'll probably shoot for a pro coach that's expected to get the axe.
