John Lynch. He tries to come off as this great guy, but inside he's an utter cock. I really hate the fact that Herm is buddy-buddy with him. Whenever I see Lynch, I want to strap him to a chair, cut the bottom out and torture his balls like Daniel Craig got tortured in the latest James Bond movie.

I also hate the fact that he is overrated by Bronco fans and the media in general. He's been a shitty player this year. I'm just sad Larry didn't get to run him over again.

I hate Ray because every time he tackled Larry Johnson last year, or got in on a tackle, or breathed on the pile Larry was tackled in, after the play he was in his face talking smack and giving him the business. It really pissed me off, because I know for a fact that if LJ and Ray Lewis lined up on opposite goal lines and ran headlong at each other, not only would they meet on Ray's side of the 50, but Larry would break every bone in Ray's body on collision. The next time we play the Ravens, I want Larry Johnson to run for about 260 yards and four touchdowns, and I want him to run over Ray Lewis about 15 times. I want to see him look down upon Ray Lewis like he's lower than dogshit everytime he picks his old ass up off the grass. And I want him to do Ray's dance every time he scores. Finally, I want great photography from the event.

Peyton Manning and the Manning family in general. I am so sick of seeing this guy's worthless commercials and hearing his annoying ass voice on TV. I can't stand that his family though they were bigger than the NFL itself in dictating who Eli would and wouldn't play for and relish the fact that he is stuck sucking ass in New York when he could've been in San Diego on what is a pretty stacked team (though they're not playing to their potential like last season).

Ben Davidson. :cuss:

From KCchiefs.com:

One of the season’s pivotal junctures came in a 17-17 tie vs. Oakland (11/1). The Chiefs were ahead 17-14 when Dawson apparently sealed the win, running for a first down which would have allowed Kansas City to run out the clock. While on the ground, Dawson was speared by Raiders DE Ben Davidson in an infamous incident that cost the Chiefs a victory and further inflamed the already heated Chiefs-Raiders rivalry. WR Otis Taylor retaliated and a bench-clearing brawl ensued. Offsetting penalties were called, nullifying Dawson’s first down. The Chiefs were forced to punt and Raiders K George Blanda eventually booted a game-tying FG with 0:08 remaining. That tie ultimately cost the Chiefs a tie with Oakland for the division crown as Kansas City finished the year with a 7-5-2 record, while the Raiders went 8-4-2.

He is the devil incarnate. Basically, take Jared Lorenzen and cover him with armor. Then give him a stronger arm. Then watch him beat your team four years in a row.

I don't know why I can't find video of it right now, but once he was literally draped in defenders -- three of them -- and still completed the pass.

He's been gone for two years and I still shudder when I hear his name.

Ty Cobb was kind of the white Barry Bonds.
Was that Tommy Lee Jones that did the one-man show about Ty Cobb? Yep made ole Ty out to be quite the arrogant, ignorant, racist a$$hole.
Pretty good show.

Back in the day, I really hated Bill Laimbeer. What a whiney bastard he was. Danny Ainge was another one, he always had that spoiled little kid look on his face. I loved those Celtic teams but I hated Ainge.

He's been mentioned a couple times in this thread, once with a writeup on his spearing Lenny.

It's unfathomable for me to believe that it couldn't be John Elway, though I could see Bill Romanowski being close. However, I recognize that a lot of people who aren't serious football fans don't know the magnitude of the sins that Elway committed, and didn't pay enough attention to that scrub Romanowski to know what kind of cheater he was. I figure Romanowski also got some bonus points among the population for breaking Shannon Sharpe's arm.

Amongst the general public, if I had to guess, I would ponder that perhaps O.J. Simpson would be in the #1 spot, though not for his actions as an athlete. I think the #1 most-hated guy for his actions as an athlete would have to be someone high-profile (thereby knocking out people like Tom Nalen and Matt Millen), and very dirty and/or whining. Did I already mention Elway?

No, in the public, the least popular guy based on his athletic career would probably be either Bill Laimbeer, Pete Rose, or maybe Deion Sanders. The latter is probably simultaneously one of the most popular.

Elway wins.

Dishonorable mentions go to Homonowski, Sharpe, Bronco Neil, Oscar McCaffrey, The Unmentionable Kicker, Barry Bonds, Dion Sanders, Roy Oswalt, Albert Belle, Roger Clemens, Bill Laimbeer.

Yes Rainman, Pete Rose, a love him or hate him guy. I always hated him. He was a hot dog who hit a lot of singles. I really hated when he was on the Phillies and playing first base. They played on Astroturf and every time he caught the ball for the last out, instead of tossing it to the ump he'd bounce the ball real high off the turf. I don't know why but that bugged the hell out of me.

I thought Rose was cool when I was kid. Later, I felt it was bullshit that he was banned from baseball for life. But for years, the guy has just been a total and complete douche. I don't want him in the Hall now - I just want him to go away. But he never did anything that made me hate him on a personal level.

Back in the day, I had a roommate who was a big baseball fan, and this bugged the heck out of him, too. His reason, though, was that some ball boy or ump would then have to go fetch the ball while Rose ran off.

I've learned to hate Michael Irvin and Emmit Smith. I certainly never liked them as players, but as talkingsportsheads, they suck balls - Irvin as a loud, noxious, utter imbecile, and Smith as such a smarmy, arrogant prick that Cris Collinsworth thinks he's a smarmy, arrogant prick.

Otherwise...its a tie between Tom Nalen and Larry Johnson.

Tom Nalen is a pussy, and Larry Johnson is just a dick.

EDIT: OK, wtf am I thinking. The winner far and away is.....drumroll please....ELI MANNING!

Yeah, I'm really happy for him. I haven't spoken to him in years but in junior high and high school, we were tight. A few years after that, too.

It's funny. You can go a decade without seeing close friends like that and when you hook up again, it's like you never stopped hangin'.

Anyway, thanks for the info. I hope he continues to kick ass down there.
