I received a very strange rep comment from an honored Planeteer referencing snack cakes. But, that's okay.

Now, I'm thinking snack cakes. I mean, really thinking snack cakes. Tomorrow morning, I have to go into town and purchase some gifts and stuff so, while I'm out, I plan on running by the market and picking up some snack cakes.

I can't, however, decide whether to go with chocolate - like a cupcake - or some kind of spice cake thing. My favorite is probably twinkies, though. I think I'll buy some twinkies. I just wish they had more ... substance. A twinkie is really just air, mainly. Air and goo. Air and goo and some kind of filling. If they had more substance, I think they would go better with coffee because you could take a bite of twinkie and a sip of coffee, then another bite of twinkie and another sip of coffee and then another bite of twinkie and another sip of coffee. Like that. But since they're just air and goo and filling, the coffee pretty much wipes them out. I sure wish they made a twinkie that didn't get wiped out with coffee quite so fast.

I often enjoy a Little Debbie® Boston Creme Roll with my coffee.

No wipe out involved.

There's a thought. I have not yet, personally, enjoyed a Little Debbie Boston Creme Roll. Perhaps tomorrow is that special day.

Are they like twinkies? Flavor wise, I mean?

I find myself partial to the "Donut Sticks"

If you need something to go with your coffee, this is definitely what I would choose.

It's like a twinkie with a bonus drizzling of chocolate. Imagine eating a twinkie, and winning the lottery at the same time. It's like that.

That is an excellent choice if you are into dunking your snack cakes in your coffee. They're too dry otherwise.

I'm not too sure about a twinkie with chocolate drizzles. Worth a try though, I suppose. Although I'm not crazy about the idea of giving my business to Little Debbie in the first place. She looks like a total doofus in that stupid hat. And her diabolical stare and hellish, infernal grin are reminiscent of a blood sucking ghoul. I don't want to think about cadaver parts when I'm trying to enjoy a snack cake.

Understood, but there's a Krispy Kreme right up the street, Mr. Cro. They have fresh donuts of 1000 kinds. Honestly, why would somebody want a donut stick that was made and packaged in carcinigenic plastic 6 months ago, when they could have a fresh, steaming hot Krispy Kreme?

I was thinking of something more in the cake zone rather than in the donut area, anyhow. That's the whole problem with twinkies. They're a tweener. Not really cake, but not really donut. And not really anything else, for that matter.

Huh, I never really took note of that until now. Not that it matters at this point, I'm pretty sure I've already put a couple of Little Debbie®'s kids through college.

Even better, getting ready to get into the shower, buck nekkid, in the bathroom, with tile floors. Just sayin. Oh, and make it better by envisioning your 9 monthpld puppy being in the bathroom giving you a look that says, "He beats the shit outta me for that....."

Yeah, it can be entertaining....... and it should be CP lore.....schnitting.....
