How would that sound if he would retire at the end of this year (which he needs to for his health frankly) and come back home to KC and be a QB coach or I know this is a stretch, but OC?

Trent Green will never coach in the NFL. Ever. Not in a million years. Not if god himself came down from heaven and commanded him to.

But if he did, I would be ok with him being our QB coach, honestly almost anyone would be better than Curl.

Come on folks think outside the box.

So your idea of "thinking outside of the box" is to hire a washed-up, 37 year-old former KC QB who's NEVER coached at any level, high school, college or pro, who has earned in excess of $40 million dollars in his career, as an offensive coordinator?

Whisky. Tango. Foxtrot.

Redux.

I don't know what Trent's future is, but then neither does anyone here that is making the comments about him coming back to KC.

I don't know what his 'after football' goals are, but what if he wants to be a coach?

I think that he might have quite a bit of knowledge to share with young players.

I wouldn't count him out, but I wouldn't say that it is even a possibility. It might be interesting to see what he could do though.

Maybe he could be a QB coach or something, if we still ran that system.
