There's a great big huge blues band show happening this Friday night, the 22nd.

We will be honoring the esteemed Bob Dole by dedicating the entire first set to him. Also, songs may be dedicated to any other planeteers who make the scene.

You guys used to have a good buffet in that town about 10+ years ago, not sure if it is still there..

Always just go into Greenfield to eat now when we are at our lake house..

Naw, the coolest thing about being in a band is being able to dedicate songs or even entire sets to anyone whether they are there or not. Or even real or not. People really like it. Ask Jim Nasium.

Can't make it. I'll be in Springfield, Mo. this weekend. Golden City/Lamar next week.

Do some dedications to the Walker family who started the grain mill there in Golden City

And the Leivan family who's relatives/offspring are about half of the cities population.

So is it just in the middle of Golden City, or some place in particular? And is it all day Friday?

9PM - 1AM Friday night.

I don't know the name of the place, but it is downtown there somewhere. There used to be a bar there that burned down, and this place is accross the street from that.

Also we are playing in Butler MO New Year's Eve, and wouldn't you know I have no idea other than in Butler.

So is downtown on 126, or is there a turn somewhere?

Or maybe people just stop at city limits and listen for the noise.

It's been awhile since I've been to GC but I doubt you'll have trouble finding anything there. Just follow the power line.

I don't have the answer to your questions, but google is smarter than me and one of those farggin' 8-balls. I think you can even get a satellite image.

I got nothin'.

That noise thing may work out, the bossman told me to bring the loud kit.

Bob Dole isn't going to be able to make it north that soon, but thought maybe someone else might be more inclined to make the trek if they had more info.

Well, Bob Dole managed to sneak out of town early and actually found the bar in fabulous downtown Golden City.

It was nice to see everyone.
