The crash was scarier than the fight. I was in the jump seat so I had headphones on and could here the pilots discussing the fact we were going to land in trees. It was at night and raining. But all turned out well, I was able to walk away from both, as did everyone.

National Guard Captain and a RA CW2 were piloting. NG pilot had the controls but lost his cool when it started to rain and they were flying with night vision at very low altitudes. At the last second the CW2 took over and put us down. We crashed right through a couple of big trees but landed right side up. Pretty sure it was a couple of tree branches that ripped my arm open.
