In all seriousness, I'd like to assess the level of support for, and confidence in, Carl Peterson. Please vote in the forthcoming poll and then spew any profanities in the thread.

Should we vote as if we are the owner? Because the owner always issues a vote of confidence just before they can somebody.

I am very confident that Carl Peterson should find a new line of employment.

Vote as if you are an owner who would actually consider firing somebody for poor performance.

I voted that Carl is a middle-of-the-pack GM, but I want a new GM. I wasn't sure if he was middle-of-the-pack or below average. Truthfully, I wouldn't classify him as weak since we've had some strong teams in the past. However, I want a new GM.

I voted the "Top GM but I want another" option in hopes that a rival would be encouraged by this and hire him.

So far, the vote is going against Carl 9 to 0.

I made it an anonymous vote so that any Carl backers wouldn't risk ostracism by voting to keep him. It'll be interesting to see if there are any besides our resident fans of AFC West rivals.

I've never understood how the role of GM and CEO could be handled by one guy, because aren't those two jobs always at odds with one another (GM wants what is best for team, CEO wants what is fiscally best for team...)?

Not a problem for Carl, or for anyone else who has that many people in their head.

Yeah all that winning has got to be killing Bob Kraft in the pocket book.

Ask Eva, I've learned tonight from Rain Man that she has had both.

Oh. Carl's approval rating just skyrocketed to 3 percent. 29 to 1, though I bet the one person is a Broncos fan.

Carl is one of the league's top GMs and I want him to remain our GM.
