View Full Version : Chiefs KC is arguably the worst team in the league.

Other than Miami, KC is easily the worst team in the league with a 9 game losing streak. Even Miami could be argued to be better because they have even forced a somewhat competitive game. Discuss.

Yes. Yes we are. I think we would beat Miami at home in OT if we won the coin toss. We would lose to the Phins in Miami though, probably by at least 10.

I think the Chiefs are the worst. At least Miami strives to make improvements in the FO?

Chiefs on the other hand...Bah...I don't even want to go there...I am just depressed. Nothing but darkness in the Chiefs organization, nothing but darkness in every sense.

I've been saying the Chiefs are the worst team in the league for most of the season. You look at the fundamentals -- yards per play gained vs. allowed, and we are right down there at the bottom tied for last.

The Chiefs can't do anything?

NOTHING! And it angers me!!!

Seriously? What can they do?

-they can't score

-they can't run the football

-they can't pass protect

-they can't pass the ball

-they can't stop the run

-special teams sucks

-coaching sucks

-FO sucks

-Can't draft if there lives depended on it

*Only thing they can do pretty decently is pressure the QB.

This team sucks in every sense of the word

While they have the same record they (Raiders) won 1 more conference game...which means they finish above the Chiefs. That's the tiebreaker.

Comparing 2 teams in the same division, conference record isn't applied until after the record against common opponents.

TO BREAK A TIE WITHIN A DIVISION

Two Clubs
1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.

We win the 3rd tiebreaker.

CHIEFS 3RD
RAIDERS 4TH

Pffft. We had a road win against the division champ. Trump card played.Which means absolutely nothing in a tiebreaker. If (by some miracle) both we and the Raiders had finished at 12-4 and the Raiders had one more division win than we did...they'd be the division winner. The same rule applies when both teams are in the basement.

***

Alright, I may stand corrected. I'm off to look up the tiebreaker formula.

SOS is used for draft order only.

Playoff tiebreakers are used in determining division order.

Two different sets of tiebreakers for two different situations.

We have a 3rd place schedule next year, because we had a better record against common opponents.

If the Raiders pick ahead of the Chiefs in the draft, it's because they finished lower in tiebreakers. Whoever picks first of these two teams in the draft, finished in last place in the division. Sorry. I don't care what ESPN says. The draft order will sort it all out.
