... would you forgive him for the past 2 decades of his mistakes?

Poll on its way.

Well it isn't going to happen, so...

I'd be surprised if we were a 500 team in 2 years, unless they sign 50 FA's.

I am so confident i could mortgage my house he wouldn't get this team to the SB and even if his life depended on it.

Did you really think that Green Bay would be contenders... much less a dominating force in the league?

If they can do it... why cant we?

difference is, they have the QB. we've never had the QB..They built there team around the QB. The Chiefs built their team around the RB

I would not think that building a team around a 73 year old QB would be the wisest thing to do.

They got lucky.

I'm not sure Green Bay intentionally built the team around Favre...they drafted his replacement three years ago...but he's Brett Favre, they can't make him go away...and then he kind of stumbled into this year...no one expected it, but it's rejuvenated the guy to the point of him probably playing another 2-3 years...

The Packers did get lucky, I agree with capone, because I don't think their GM envisioned them as contenders...but he did a great job finding all of that young talent and mixing them with some great veterans.

:shake: does it matter how we vote? There's a greater chance of jeffery dahmer coming back to earth as the messiah than carl taking us to the super bowl.

I don't understand the people who are voting "no" in this poll. The knock against Peterson has always been that he hasn't won a superbowl, but they still won't be satisfied if he does. Is it just personal animosity toward the man rather than frustration at his lack of ultimate success?

The 10 people who voted yes on this poll needs to be "put down".

If Carl wins the SB in 2 years it will be somewhere else as we have Hermit for a HC.

The question (and therefore the poll) is totally moot, because Carl and Herm couldn't take this team to Wendy's in 2 years let alone the Super Bowl.

Your hatred of Carl exceeds your desire to see the Chiefs win a superbowl?

Super Bowl in 2 years with Carl? LMAO

The Odds are better that Ryan Leaf will make a comeback shattering all of the records Joe of Montana, Dan Marino, Payton Manning and Tom Brady combined and end up in the Hall Of fame as the greatest QB to ever grace a football field.

A good GM would have done more than had one to three successful seasons out of 20.

No, I am just smart enough to see a superbowl will never happen under the King's tenure here.

Let me pose this question to you.

You are raped in the a$$ every year for 18 years.

The 19th year your attacker decides to use vaseline instead of a$$ raping you dry like he did for 18 years.

Now isn't he a nice guy?

Honestly, at that point I'd be more concerned about protecting my family from the massive waves of flying pigs than thinking about Carl.

If he somehow lucked into a Super Bowl once in 21 years, I would concede that he has worked his way up to "almost average" and would still want to replace him with a GM who is above average.

I was a loyal Carl supporter for over 15 years, but his time has come and gone.

It's torture but a video of Carl being waterboarded by Chiefs fan would be priceless.

I would compare it to a reach around, not just a lubricated ass-****ing.

Nope. It was a classic illustration of stupidity. LJ's character was in question before hand, everybody knew about that. Yet the Chiefs treated him like a franchise player.

Why in the hell does Carl deserve an opportunity to piss away another two years?
