he has a great "punch"....he can knock guys back/re-direct them with these powerful, quick, and short punches...and he is a fighter, right in everyone's face...

It's not out of the question. You're recording it, right? Go back and watch it again, Long misses a block and Henne gets hit as he's throwing.

Pressure forces bad throws and Henne was pressured because Jake Long wasn't paying attention and let a defender run right by him.

Long's missed a few blocks, surprisingly in the running game. He's held up fine in pass protection, partly due to the fact that Florida's mainly playing Harvey on the other side. He's not athletic enough to make up for when it gets beat to the outside though and that's going to happen a lot at the next level.

bdeg

It wasn't a good decision, but who knows what would have happened if he had more time

HolmeZz

He's more vulnerable to the outside pass rush than the inside and that's not surprising since he looks better going to his right than his left IMO. It's why you hear talk of him maximizing his ability at right tackle.

Yeah I've heard that but people can say one thing when reality is another.

No team is going to draft the 1st OT off the board probably in the top 5 picks to play RT.

We've struggled against Michigan, Mich St and Iowa in bowl games. If only we could play OSU all the time..

I think OSU has lost something like 8 in a row to SEC teams and it will probably be 9 after they lose to LSU. I'm actually pretty surprised that Michigan played that well. I thought that UF would beat them by at least 2 TD's.

Fred Davis is a converted WR so he's great in the pass game.

And yes our WR's suck, they're all freshman and sophomores, tons of talent and 5 star guys so far not much production...

From what I've seen all this year I think Ronald Johnson should be on the field more he's shown the most.

I also think they need to stop trying to play David Ausberry out at WR and move him to TE with his size and he's fast for a TE but slow for a WR.

Because Michigan was unranked. To get a BCS bid you have to be ranked in the top 14.

It depends. If there was another eligible team then it could have changed a lot of the BCS matchups. If there weren't enough eligible teams they would have expanded the field to top-18 and things would have worked out the same.
