Wow...that would be pretty terrifying. I've been kayaking off the coast of Socal and it was even a little strange feeling to have dolphins following us. I can't imagine having that thing there.

ever since i watched jaws when i was like 9 :shake:

Wow you can stage a shark to follow a kayak??? Looks to me they were studying the sharks and got a once in a lifetime picture...

Well considering that they "extensively tested the sharks' reaction to an empty kayak", I'm pretty sure they had a slight inkling what the shark might do. They didn't just anchor the boat, throw some guy out in a kayak, and then someone else just happened to take the picture. Hardly a once in a lifetime situation IMO.

What that they tested a empty non moving kayak out in the water first to make sure it was not attacked and then put a person out there to study in it??
