I like the Johnsons.

Off the top of my head, should the winner of this game play the Davises?

Rain Man

We'll see. Maybe the Davis's can take on the Jones's next.

No, wait. Williams. That's got to be a good roster.

There are surprisingly few strong linemen named Smith and Johnson.

I like the Smiths in this matchup. I think their defense is the difference. Love their DE's.

Smith's would win by a large margin.

The Johnson look like a bunch of big mouthed crybabies. I go with the Smith.

And for the record I would take Alex Smith over Akili Smith, even though they both suck.

I like the Johnsons.

That's what people say here, but I think you just like the attention.

That quarterback is really going to hold the Smiths back. Otherwise they might be stronger. That's a pretty good defense, nice WRs and RB. Not sure about the OL.

The Smiths only because Kolby played better than Larry this year.

That was my first thought, Bruce and Neil on the same line.

I went with the Smiths just because of their offensive weapons. I know that they're weak at QB, but man oh man, look at that receiving corps. The Johnsons don't have a great pass rush, and they've only got one really strong defensive back. Then you've got Emmett running the play action, and that's a winning formula, despite a really weak offensive line.

The Johnsons have a great kicking tandem and a better offensive line, but they're really a one-trick pony with John Henry Johnson. On defense, they've got a great run-stuffing defense, but I think they're vulnerable against the pass. The Smiths, on the other hand, are more of a pass defense team with good rushers off the edge and a light but mobile set of linebackers, though they're going to be weaker against the run compared to the bruisers on the Johnson defense.

I thought this thread was whether Kolby Smith or Larry Johnson was the better RB for the Chiefs next year and neither one of them even made the list.

I think Brown vs Jones would also be a nice matchup. Brown has a nice lineup but no QB. Jones can play Bert at QB and is solid all around. Davis is a good team but lacks depth. I think I like Jones to win if this is a tournament format.

Good thread, I like the Smiths. Emmitt on O and Neil/Bruce on D should be enough.

You could upgrade the Johnson's WRs if you added Chad Johnson.

Smithfield Ham is like the best ham you can get but Johnsonville makes good brats. Toss up.

I'm going with the Smiths for the reasons already mentioned (offensive skill positions minus Akili Smith and pass rush).

The Scanlons have been completely overlooked.

The Smiths, probably.

The Johnsons and the Browns coaches are fairly obvious.

The Davis's front office is bat-poop crazy.

The Williams team should have Ricky Williams, you know 'the bride', at tailback.

The Williams team should have Ricky Williams, you know 'the bride', at tailback.
Rainman's team was chosen based on longevity at the position. Ricky missed it by one year.
