Bucs general manager Bruce Allen addressed the media on Thursday for the first time since Tampa Bay's 24-14 loss to New York on Wild Card Weekend.

Tampa Bay has extended contract offers to all three coordinators -- offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Bill Muir, defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin and special teams coach Richard Bisaccia. According to Allen, Muir and Bisaccia have signed their contracts with the Buccaneers.

Allen suggested Bucs assistant head coach/running backs Art Valero had signed a contract with the St. Louis Rams. He also suggested the Bucs would not be bringing in former Nebraska head coach Bill Callahan, who served as an offensive line coach in Oakland under Jon Gruden.

Allen also acknowledged that the Buccaneers expressed interest in signing retired WR Keyshawn Johnson after WR Maurice Stovall suffered a season-ending injury against San Francisco. Although they still are high on Joey Galloway, the Bucs likely will look for at least one wide receiver in the draft and/or free agency.

In addition, Allen said there was no question that Jon Gruden would be the head coach of the Buccaneers in 2008. Mike Alstott is not in a hurry to announce his future plans, RB Earnest Graham could be up for a contract extension as Allen plans to meet with his agent this week and he said he could not comment on Warren Sapp signing a one-day contract to retire a Buccaneer because it could be considered tampering since Sapp still is under contract with Oakland.

PewterReport.com will have more on these stories and more from One Buc Place throughout the day.

he has been far worse then petersen, look at all the washed up raiders he signed and chris simms, him and gruden are horrible!!!!! the only reason they made the playoffs was because of their weak ass schedule, they didnt beat a team with a winning record.
