Is the original Olathe weather thread saved somewhere? If not it needs to be for the posterity of this message board.

There is snow on my car now so I would say that yes indeed it is snowing in Olathe.

Hey it's snowing in Olathe, does that make this storm important now?

Actually, I never heard anything about this storm so I'd say it's been underhyped. The weatherman drops the ball AGAIN.

Hopefully Pete will start a thread about this grave injustice.

Um no. Why does bad weather in winter surpise people?

Holy snow shovels!!! I think we got all of .125" of snow. Better shut down schools tomorrow. We don't want our children on school buses riding around in the snow and all.

I ****ing hate snow. It's ridiculous. I moved to Olathe to AVOID the snow, and now this shit? WTF?

The threat of snow affected Mizzou's shooting tonight. Somebody needs to get on this and do it fast.

They have this picture on kansascity.com, and a huge list of closings. Either the plows were sprinkling ice on the road last night or they're going to start closing school whenever it rains in the fall/spring. :shake:

They were saying the chemicals they were putting on don't do much good in temps less then 20 degrees.

Which seems a bit goofy, but it seemed every major interstate had at least one wreck.

They seem to do a much better job of preperation here... heck, they had the entire day yesterday to do something about it. My load of taxes going to a good cause... :)

They didn't even bother to plow the roads here. WTF? This is ridiculous.

And your chemicals don't work in less than 20 degrees? Maybe it's time to get some new ****ing chemicals?????

Katie wasn't on TV scaring everyone with threats of "the storm to paralyze the city".

Maybe we can put her in a woodchipper and use the residue to help melt the snow.

I was actually hoping for one of those global warming winters this year so the frigging heat bills wouldn't be so high. Back to Ramen Noodles for the next month.

Those canned tamales from the Dollar store are pretty good.

Two cans for a buck. 75 cents each at the grocery store.

Sounds like a possible combination mixture noodles and tamales. Can probably get 2 meals for under a buck. Thanks for the info.
