First I would like for us to learn how to play one in the U.S. If we could learn to play one on our own field would be a bonus...........oh wait a minute.......I'm going to be attacked for my negativity..........I should have just said "no thanks."

See, the Chiefs really aren't making any more money in '08 than they did in '07, even with the price hikes for the people in club and down low. The Chiefs are going to miss out on all the revenue of giving up a game, so really, we're getting a good deal on tickets this year. [/Douchebag Dawes]

Wouldn't that be kind of a rough trip for the Seahawks? At least make them play another west coast team so it's all fair.

In other words, sure, I'd agree to a Seattle/KC game.

**** that. I live in Seattle and I want that game to be a road game. GAWDDAMMIT I HAVEN'T SEEN A CHIEFS GAME LIVE SINCE THE SEAHAWKS WENT TO THE NFC. **** you NFL, **** you.

I'm calling it - Chiefs vs. Bucs in Manchester, England this season.

I ****ing HATE it! I have zero problem with pre-season games played over there. The NFL is taking away games from American fans. Goodell should have is scrotum removed. He's obviously not using it...

I think it'd be sweet. Not sure I'd want to pay 400 quid to see them get their asses kicked though.

Preseason game is 1 thing. Hell, even the Pro Bowl i would be ok with, but not a regular season game. Its stupid.

Sure why not? But only if Carl makes the season ticket holders purchase tickets for the game...

The farther away the Chiefs play, the better. The Ainglish should like our offense. We score in a very similar fashion to most 3rd division English soccer clubs.

it's unfair to both teams that do it, and really unfair for the team that loses a home game.

We don't play Seattle next year, so that kills that.

We play Buffalo at home, so we won't be playing in Canada.

That leaves us losing a home game and playing either the Bucs or the Saints.

Originally it was supposed to be, but now there is talk of them wanting to go back to England again. Being that Germany was the biggest supporter of the NFLE you'd think they would want to repay that market...

maybe the interest isn't there? Don't we wanna tear up a soft green soccer field instead, an listen to them whine about it.

As far as I'm aware - England is the NFL's largest foreign market.

And I'd love for KC to come over here - saves me the hassle of coming to the States to see a game this season.

I'm calling Bucs @ Chiefs @ Milennium Stadium, Cardiff...

I don't think any of you guys realise how popular the NFL is over here... I've already heard loads of people discussing the UK '08 game with a heck of a lot of excitement.

I don't think the Chiefs could beat the London Silly Nannies next year.

playing regular season games outside of the US is the worst idea in the history of football.

There has to be something forbidding this in the Geneva Convention. I mean, to unleash this team on unsuspecting fans... mass panic and many deaths, at minimum.

Of course the advantage is that it will be one less home black out for next season.

rebuilding year. Construction of the "new" arrowhead. What the hell. If they are going to do this and they are going to make all the NFL teams lose a home game on a rotating basis? This is a good year to take our turn.

Exactly thats my opinion as well. Heck as a STH, Tampa doesnt really excite me to much anyways and if every NFL team has to do this eventually might as well get ours out of the way.

If they do play there, I plan on going. Be a lot of fun.

Hummmm, I wonder if they will let us tailgate KC style?

We'll have to coordinate and take over a bar then night before.

Doubtful. As they would play in England, I suspect "God Save the Queen" will be played before the game.

LOL If I'm there (which I will be) I'm sure as hell saying "God save the Chiefs"

Aaaand if it's anything like last years game there will be a tailgate party... similar to a regular tailgate, except its somewhat contained.

Never been to a tailgate myself though :( Damn, think I might have to make the trip to Arrowhead anyway..

God save our gracious Chiefs
Long live our noble Chiefs,
God save the Chiefs:
Send them victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Kick Carl to the curb for us:
God save the Chiefs.

That just might work.

Will season ticket holders only get charged for nine games?
