View Full Version : 'Hamas' Calls for Suicide Bombing

Damn it feels good to be a dirka.

Actually, I had this idea a few months back, and for the f*ck of it, I thought I'd throw it out now.

As football fans, we have nothing to live for. The only thing that can pique our interest is who can come up with the most creative insults for Peterson, or arguing over Long, Ellis, and Long, which sounds like a bad law firm.

We have no power to change the status quo at Arrowhead it seems ,but there is one thing that we do hold power over.

Granted this will come off as extremely bitter, but that's the point, so go f*ck yourself.

We should launch a DDoS attack on our own server on Super Bowl Sunday. We may never experience a Super Bowl, but through our collective powers, we can assure that the fans of the Patriots cannot enjoy the culmination of a perfect season.

It's really the closest thing to control that we can exert. We have no joy to experience ourselves, but we can cause misery and pain for others.

We must destroy our own server AT ANY COST!!

And our morale will rise high!!http://www.siyumhaseinfeld.com/images/chars/mrpitt1.jpg

And you previously thought you had a tough time getting through the airport.

ROFL...probably time for an IP anonymizer.

Remember what happened in Who-ville when the Grinch stole Christmas? Despite his having taken all the presents and decorations and trees and the roast beast and the Who-hash, despite all his best efforts, Christmas still came......it came, just the same. Those Whos were just as happy without all the things he had taken.

I'm afraid that would also be the outcome of this diabolical plan. We'd destroy the server but the Pats fans would still rejoice in Super Bowl Sunday, for the true meaning of Super Bowl isn't in an internet message board. It's about the game, and spending time with family.

But then we wouldn't know much about that, now would we?

Hmm. Interesting. I wonder if we have to take down the entire server or if PatiotsPlanet has its own thread pool? It's entirely possible we could ruin their day and leave our service up.

Well, get cracking on the equations. :)

I've been purely theory on all hacking since my 18th birthday. I'm not starting back up now. :)

Distributed Denial of Service

basically you just spam the hell out of a server so that nobody can connect.

Hmmmm. That sounds like work.

Anybody have a plan that's a little easier?

Find Kyle's house and smash the server computer with a sledge hammer?

I would suspect that whoever is hosting this server (assuming it is a professional institution) will have an appliance that will stop DDoS attacks. Either stand-alone or in a load balancer or some such piece of hardware.

I'll bet you'd be disappointed. Besides, the whole "Distributed" part of DDoS kind of makes the attacks a mother to "stop". Basically the only treatment is to find a pattern to the traffic and get someone upstream of you to drop all traffic matching that pattern. Otherwise the attack just looks like millions of people accessing your site at once. It's the brilliance of that method. It's just a web request.

DDoS attacks are typically done by people with large farms of zombies. Thank you unpatched Windows boxes.

On principle, I am against anything that involves a large farm of zombies. Unless it also includes HellBoy and that goofy looking fish man with the goggles.

Can't we just send some anonymous accusations to the NFL's email address that Belichick has repeatedly drilled the commissioner's wife with a plastic mixing spoon?

Is it still an accusation if I have video of it?

So, how would we go about coordinating such an attack? I'm more of an idea man, and my knowledge is far more on the hardware than software side.

In that case, I suggest we unplug the dang thing from the wall.

Well, we could start an **** OFFICIAL Patriots go 19-0 Perfect 4ever OR NOT? thread **** and then start posting in it. Pretty much guaranteed to make the board crash. Is that what you call a DDoS attack?

Not to be a negative Nancy, but if the Chiefs were in the Super Bowl, I wouldn't be wasting my time on here. The same can probably be said for Pats fans.
