and they were focusing on Ben Rothlisberger and how QBs go about throwing around the ole football.

Anyhow, while showing clips of Ben burning some teams, as usual... KC was there getting burned. They must have shown about 5 different clips of KC getting torched by the Steelers.

Now.... perhaps, because I am a life long fan of the Chiefs, I am a little sensitive about seeing my team getting torched in highlights.

Seems like every time we, as a team, are shown in any sort of media that is not local (and even then.... that does not always go for us) the highlights of us are ALWAYS getting torched.

I rarely see a clip where they are talking about elite TE's and see TG there. And even if they are, the very next clip is of Antonio Gates torching the KC D.

This has been the case for many years. ESPN especially enjoys putting clips of the KC D getting beat. I am starting to believe that if ESPN could put up clips of KC getting burned every week.... they prolly would. lol

Anyone else notice this as well or am I just enjoying my drink a little too much?

Every time. It sucks that Gates and LT are in our division.

The last time I remember getting some ESPN love was when Priest was added to the NFL Jive intro montage. So that was a while ago.

They need to give some kind of scientific explanation for why Gunther Cunningham still works here.

Yup, I've noticed it. It has died down a little bit, but earlier this decade it happened all the time. Nobody would let us forget about that Giants game a few years ago.

For years, I've complained about the Chiefs being highlighted to showcase the other team. So far, it hasn't done one bit of good.

I've been reduced to hoping that I'll live to see the day when HellBoy decides to kick some ESPN ass.

or am I just enjoying my drink a little too much?

Ill go with this option.

Id be willing to bet fans in every city complain about this exact same thing.

Recent history has shown that our defense sucked out loud...
