I love how it's gotten to the point that any time you run the football it's Hermball, no matter the down or distance. All running plays should be banned from the NFL.

i have no idea what this means

I'm sorry... i'll explain later.

at the start of the season, def coord spags put in a new system. add in a rookie gm Jerry Reese, three new coordinators, a coach on the hot seat and a quarterback whose leadership ability was in question. the giants were a team crying out for a leader, a director, someone to carry them home.

Ever heard of a sloth?
The living sloths are a mere 6 species of medium-sized mammals that live in Central and South America belonging to the families Megalonychidae and Bradypodidae, part of the order Pilosa. Most scientists call the sloth suborder Folivora, while some call it Phyllophaga. Both names mean "leaf-eaters", the first is Latin-, the second Ancient Greek-based.

This article mainly deals with the living tree-dwelling sloths. Until geologically recent times, large ground sloths such as Megatherium[2] lived in South America and parts of North America, but along with many other animals they disappeared immediately after the arrival of humans on the continent. Much evidence suggests that human activity contributed to the extinction of the American megafauna, like that of far northern Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Madagascar. However, simultaneous climate change that came with the end of the last Ice Age may have also played a role in some cases. And of course it must be remembered that most ground sloth lineages were long extinct even before humans settled the Americas

"We’re gonna go out there and we’re gonna fight; they’re gonna have to carry us off that football field no matter what happens,” ... Osi

these posteason games this year, have mostly been about the second half - my guess is that New England's Offesne ramps up and Eli stays the same, inconsistent. New York's Defense will get tired and eventually give up 3 Touchdowns.

Just a hunch, but the team that turns it up in the second half wins this game; it won't be luck.

I love Osi's quotes:

Osi Umenyiora knows full well that Brady has been called the modern-day Joe Montana, has won three Super Bowls, and gives the devil his due. "But he’s going up a group of guys who haven’t won any Super Bowls,” Umenyiora said. "We’re definitely hungry for that.” A short while later, he amended that characterization. "Super hungry, man,” he said. "To get so far and lose would be a disaster.”

The NFL replay system currently only covers the following situations:

* Scoring plays (except field goals)
* Pass complete/incomplete/intercepted
* Runner/receiver out of bounds
* Recovery of a loose ball in or out of bounds
* Touching of a forward pass, either by an ineligible receiver or a defensive player
* Quarterback pass or fumble
* Illegal forward pass
* Forward or backward pass
* Runner ruled not down by contact
* Forward progress in regard to a first down
* Touching of a kick
* Other plays involving placement of the football
* Whether a legal number of players are on the field at the time of the snap, which the Patriots did in the Super Bowl against the Giants because they are douchebags

But it is review able.

Reviewable plays:
The instant replay system will cover a variety of plays in three main areas.

* Sideline, Goal Line, End Zone, and End-Line plays.
* Passing Plays.
* Other detectable infractions, such as a runner ruled down not by defensive contact, and the number of players on the field.
