ive told this before.. but i once knew a girl who said she wanted to die. i told her id kill her. she says ok..and before she could think about it i choked her out.

when she woke up balling i said 'everybody wants to die till its there turn'.

So while reading about this ladies art project, I googled her inspiration, Christine Chubbock. While reading about her I came across Budd Dwyer... did anyone see this live? There are several videos of it, and being curious, I had to watch... but I paused it right as he prepared to pull the trigger... I did see the aftermath though. I am curious to know if it was ever found out if he was in fact innocent. I do not even know what to say. I know how the majority of people feel about suicide, a view I do not fully share. There are times in which suicide is a justifiable action. Honestly, I do not know about this instance (Dwyer). One thing I always mention in my classes during psychological or philosophical discussions about the differences between humans and other animals is suicide. Usually reasoning is the first to come up, but self-chosen suicide is solely human. Myth of lemmings (accidental) and scorpions (false) do not apply.
